i remember hearing you can use either moonlight or starlight to break trial weapon latents. is there any truth to this, and would either of them work?

Double check to make sure it is using the correct registry settings in your configury thingie. Pretty sure Vista/7 has a different registry location, and Windower doesn't auto detect this (makes you say "I know I'm using that version").

How do I check or make sure it's in the right registry? Thanks

For the magian trial for club on the trials that "any WS" moonlight/starlight don't count.

Running about isn't a 'trigger' in the same way using a JA etc. is so spellcast can't know when to apply a rule like that.

You could have a 'run' variable written in your xml but I find such a thing overly complicated. Just make a basic ingame macro/windower keybind and press it when you need it. A variable in your spellcast to alternate between gaiters and sabots would require just as much input (one more keystroke in fact, to turn it off when you do arrive at your destination - provided you remember to turn it off).

They don't if you're auto-running, but they do if you're holding down the run button manually. Just takes a second or so after switching to the item, then you can auto-run again.

Iron Gigant in Grau isn´t too bad to pop and doesn´t do anything really dangerous. Just 2 pop items from mob / hand NM drop and cost maybe 1/3rd of an Amarok. Kite when trying to proc yellow !! makes it less annoying.

On the other side Iron Gigant in Ule can be a pain if you don´t have like 2 DDs with a steady killspeed. Therefor his pop items are dirt cheap tho..

After playing around with the registry stuff I finally got the windows 7 POL.exe to work with the FFXI ultimate collection I had. What registry do I have to change to make windower find FFXI? since it keeps telling me I don't have it installed or it's corrupted.

Am I missing something here? Ravager's +2 are +10% crit dmg so are head and shoulders above anything else. For the 30 seconds of blood rage that you are capped on crit dmg I'd say hecatomb/+1/clout boots (the -sTP might/might not matter).

Everytime time I use it I always just ricked clicked and hit run as admin, but I went ahead and gave admin rights to launcher.gui and it still only get me to where it switchs to the final fantasy window and stops saying (windower enabled).

Edit: got it to work where it does the transition. now it just crashes when it goes to update resources, abilites/spells etc.

copy the windower folder to someplace not controlled by windows, like your desktop. something about not having write access.

For Rani Brew as long as I ready my ele WS after the cast animation of the spell i wont get screwed and it'll absorb, or does that absorb phase last a bit longer after the spellcast?
