Why would you do Celerity Abyssites last? It takes 1 Tonberry, 1 Quest (Done using items bought off AH), and some cruor (Easily obtained solo or with the help of an XP group).

Because you only have a tiny bit of time and they only take a fraction of that time? The sooner you're able to build up stones, the sooner you can zone-hop and gather the basics.

I've killed 4 Chloris so far, and 3 of them used Fatal Scream. All Fatal Screams came under 10% health.

The fight was pretty much a huge joke... I died to Doom after Chloris died on one fight, and just proceeded to pop the next one while weakened and tank it without any issue.

Was this just luck, or can Chloris only use Fatal Scream at very low HP? I feel like it's soloable MNK/DNC - but I'm not entirely sure...

retroactive but then all the stones you used are still completely lost. to be worth doing retroactive you'd have to let your stone pile accumulate (like starting abyssea quest line then doing a couple emp weapons though all the nm's prior to abyssea). in short, retroactive when you have 3 stones saved nets you 7.5 stones vs getting the abyssite right away and having 3 stones a day going forward.

Considering I have access to a gimpish monk and a full aurore blu as 90 jobs, should I do my ravenant fists for abyssea first and then re-do all the trials to hope for a verethragna, or should I just man up and rush through for verethragna directly?

Mnk has no RR/VV/GH atma, in a ls with 4-5 active members in which I could duo things with a whm friend, but it's not fair to enslave him for that many trials...Others aren't available to help that much I think.Might have a brd here and there and somehow a blm or rdm if I manage to cry in LS chat enough.Not sure tough.

Equip of mnk is not even good enough to hold chloris probably...This is what I have:

Probably has to do with the fact that 300% TP raises your fTP to 4 in conjunction with the MAB atmas reducing the significance of the MAB from the belt.

to answer just your question: man up and do the real weapon.
on a side note, if you don't have RR/GH/apoc atma you don't have a mnk, you have a leech; and full aurore blu? it really sounds like you need to spend a hell of a lot more time gearing/atma/abyssite (assuming you don't have full crour buffs) for both jobs before you really consider spending a bunch of time on a emp or WoE weapon.

That's what I was thinking. They're much easier to get and they improve your damage much more than the Empyrean weapon will. I almost dare to call it another Gungnir case (HELLO FIRE CRYSTALS).

From the many times ive fought him, he doesn't really spam it or anything. The only real danger in the fight is if he happens to do Fatal Scream followed by Scream. He only did that twice out of the times ive fought him though.

I'm going to say an effective strategy would be to reduce its hp to 0, while keeping your own hp above 0.

It was 5mannable at 75, i can't imagine you'd have any trouble at all with 5 at 90.

As far as jobs, i'd probably go with blm, brd, whm, mnk, rdm. Obviously not ideal, but you're 90, it doesn't really matter.
