You could try but honestly starting from scratch has never been easier. Solo to 30 in a day with any job then leech to cap in abyssea with a shell.

Hardest thing is getting some money to start but abyssea helps with that and getting someone to help you with maat's cockblock limit breaks. Outside of that your fine, good gear is cheap for the new player and leveling is easier then ever.

It's been said already but yeah starting over is easy, the best gear comes out of abyssea and is r/ex so Gil isn't a huge issue plus it's easy to make nowadays. Plus you don't wanna be that asshole that sells and recalls, especially a year later, that's not cool!

Yeah you'll be able to do it, it's gonna require a notary form though. You'll need all the original info you set up your account with.
Just contact SE online and get the process started. Just make sure you get a token on it ASAP when you get it unlocked.

Things you will need:
The name on the account.
Photo identification of the name thats on the account.
The date in which your account got "hacked." or something close to it

Got my account rerolled this way, I would only assume it works the same way. You may need to provide them with a content-ID or something from one of the expansions registered to the account.

You will call them and they will email you a few forms to fill out. Then you will have to fax them the photo identification that they ask for. I just did a drivers license. No biggie. They will provide you the number to fax all the shit to.

They may ask what all is on the account also, characters items/jobs etc. Just be prepared to know some shit about whats going on with your account.

Best way to cap lights in Hero areas? i have no problem capping lights in other zones its just that i really haven't spend a lot of time in hero areas.

and do post-75 WSs (cataclysm, flash nova etc) definitely give WS points? towards WSNMs etc

I find myself short 4 store TP on a 6-hit build on Dragoon - I've only recently come back and have started to rebuild the character. I'm looking at options other than grinding campaign over the course of the next 30 days (minimum - 6 damn medals away from Rose Strap)

The only options I've seen so far are Brisk Mask or Goading Belt. - Both coming from NM's in Abyssea-Tahrongi. So far I've only seen Goading Belt offered on FFXIAH for 3m. I could raise the money for that, but I'd rather not buy it if I didn't absolutely have to.

So my question is - Are either of these items easy enough to come by? - in your experience with Abyssea.
Would I be better trying to get into an Abyssea LS?
or
Build my own way up using social LS mates? if so;
How long might it take a balanced group of say 8-10 players to reach these NM's?

I'm sorry if these questions are totally stupid, but I've no prior knowledge of abyssea, so I'm not familiar with the timescales required to do things in there, or the effort required.

Any insight anyone could provide would be appreciated once again.

Brisk Mask just go stand at Glavoid and ask if you can have it. A lot of people spam this mob for empyrean dagger/great axe so it hits the floor all the time.

Although there's probably better options for a head piece but I have no idea about DRG.

Lacovie you're probably best off farming gold boxes for a popset, then just taking a decent MNK and WHM (THF aswell if you can get one) during blunt hours. Trigger blue weakness and you're looking at a 50%+ drop rate.

You can get a pop while farming gold boxes at Tahrongi. That opens up the option of joining people farming Empyreans since they will most likely use gold box farming for their Glavoid/Chloris KI. The best case scenario is finding one person who wants Glavoid KIs, another for Chloris KI, and you keep the Lacovie pops for yourself. The fight itself isn't difficult if you have someone on Stona + Proper HP Abyssites (2.6k+ HP). Goading belt is superior.
