So who here is actually working on parrying now since the update yesterday? Does it seem like they increased the skill gains for it for you all?

I'm at 296 thus far. I'll see if I can bribe someone to Phalanx me while I hoard up a bunch of mandies in Altepa.

I don't actually do this (and haven't tested it), but something like this should work:

The idea of using <command> instead of delay is very creative. I'll give it a try!

when you solo Briareus nin/war do you go all out for dmg or eva or subtle blow? finally done with nm's and i'm about to start and hoping to not waste time reinventing the wheel.

Change your subjob to THF or you're wasting a lot of time. Full DD is fine, his accuracy is pretty crappy anyways. I'd recommend GH/RR/Mounted Champion.

It is a big deal. Game is unbearable without it. And yes a fix would be sweet.

i thought u always said /war for proc's? or is this getting a set > change to /thf for Briareus?

planning to bring my mule to help hold Ki/trigs but outside of a haste isn't not gonna do much (just bought abyssea for it too so no stones lol ;/ )

This is after you already farmed a set /WAR. I changed to /DNC, which in retrospect was a mistake because the TH2 makes such a tremendous difference. If your mule has THF sub (or THF main) then bring it in and you can farm time while you're there and you don't even have to change subjobs.

my mule is a trig holder for the ls with /whm38. i'm sure that will change but starting thf from 0 isn't gonna happen before Briareus.
so Briareus/trig farming /thf and change to /war for Ki's is gonna be the winner i guess.

I'm pretty sure I deactivated a content ID last night. Keep in mind that they stay "active" until the end of the month.

Ah, I meant after clicking the "obtain content ID" or "cancel content ID" it will go to the screen you normally go to. But in my case, it seems to time out after trying loading the screen for a few min. Been happening to me since last night, and even this morning neither screen will successfully load for me before timing out.

EDIT: Well it seemed to have resolved itself >_> so moving along I guess.

If you're gonna solo, /war for triggers, warp, /thf for treasure hunter, and stones be damned. Both are a waste of time without the right subjob. You're wasting pop items if you can't red!! them, and wasting a bria set if you can't more often than not get 2 helms, which means more wasted time/stones then needed.

Or, get a friend that can either war for triggers (so you can /thf) or thf for TH (so you can /war for triggers). Or 3 friends and stay in zone forever getting time/pops/helms.

Use widescan. He can be solo'd on anything 90/rng, and with widescan, it's easy to tell which is PH from reading wiki.

(unless some douchebag is there lolfarming bugards to npc drops or some retarded shit)

Im rng lvl 1 ... my widescan is gimp... Allthough i allready got 1 by killing them all, but if i could dat swap the IDs of the mobs to see which on it is would be much much better =O

Hmmm. I thought that rng1 was a big enough WS to get that area where he pops. I was /45rng and had to use "remote scan" to get just the area he pops in to show, I thought the remote scan range was what you at at 1rng. Nevermind, then.

RNG gets wide scan II at lvl 1 which should be enough for a single mob area but still renaming the PH using POLUtils (Beans link) is the easiest way.

Rather than looking the wide scan list up and down just look for the mob named "Hi I'm the PH".

Ningishzida, the T1 Hydra, if I tail tank this will it use only serpentine tail or can it still put up it's shields?
