I guess I just don't understand the NM, I thought DD couldn't damage him?

DD can't but blu, rdm, blm, ranger, cor and anything else im forgetting that can will rape it in a couple of minutes and nin/war can proc red on summons.

We're going in with mnk, whm, brd, war(also has nin), and blm.

The blm should be fine to do all the damage to him without taking forever to kill?

Blm isn't really great on its own since it can't really deal damage whilst having NM or adds beat on it (with just NM /nin would work) and it would be slow. Changing the brd mnk (unless you're after skins) or blm to something that can deal damage without worrying about interruption or rdm and just CS once you proc red. If you aren't capping azure then rdm probably not as good as rng or cor but it will be much better than blm.

Yes, I seem to recall Blizz4 doing 10% or so on RDM (or something like that? It's been a while) so BLM should have no problems at all.

iirc you mentioned something about having woe/empy bow? prob can kill it with 1 fools drink if you seigan up and use one ws per cast 3x + ees in one of them

doubt smn has much problem either, just use magical bps and retreat avatar so you don't feed it tp hitting it

Is there any AF3+2 dropper other than Cirein-Croin that can be reasonably soloed on BLM (or SMN or BLU for that matter)? I emphasize BLM as it's the best geared and atma-accomodated of the three.

Change your subjob to THF or you're wasting a lot of time. Full DD is fine, his accuracy is pretty crappy anyways. I'd recommend GH/RR/Mounted Champion.

just tried my first Briareus and he ate me around 70%. had blind + both subtle blow spells (+49 in traits/gear) on him but MC just didn't seem able to keep up. nin/thf ate 1111 999 and then a random slam (died after to a melee hit). in the first 30%. i did turn around after the 1111 to get my hp back up to 1.7k is that normal from him or do i really need to turn after every tp move and wait for hp to go up significantly?

Friend of mine who has DRK (pretty much it, yeah) is looking for the best way to go about handling Azdaja under brew. Poison for the wings I know, but are there any other gotchas to be aware of?

I'm pretty certain that Infernal Scythe won't do much against Azdaja. Dark WS vs Dark Dragon etc. Is Herculean Slash going to go much better, or should I just tell him to buck up and get dagger to where a /nin sub would grant Aeolian Edge?

Also, in either case, would there be enough time to kill azdaja, click on the martello or flux to pause the timer, and then pop and kill a second azdaja within the same brew?

Are you sure you have all Merit abyssites? That HP total seems -extremely- low. A nin with all merit abyssites should have much more HP than that.
