I don't know if this has been mentioned before but after being in abyssea 14+ hours with 250 mins remaining for a split second my log claimed that my cruour buffs and visitation status wore off. I wasn't kicked out of abyssea and my buffs were still the same except my hp dropped to yellow (the total it would be outside of abyssea). Is this normal for being inside for long ammounts of time?

Not so fun considering I was in the middle of Ophanim when it started happening and it was actually canceling my HP buff (i.e. raping my HP.) Also made it somewhat impossible to read the log. Stopped after someone opened a box.

Here's a quickie: Any chance of my lvl75 jobs getting an XP PT without Abyssea?

Thinking of rejoining XI and do some cleaning up on stuff I didn't get done (or didn't get finished before I quit *coughWOTGMissionscough*), just wondering what my odds of getting to 90 are without shelling out $30 in add-ons. Otherwise I'll just stick to doing the stuff I wanted to get done, then possibly mess with my BST for awhile (lvl40 atm) with the overall XP increase, which should make my life a hell lot easier by throwing an EM at DCs until the end of time.

I don't need 40k/hr to be happy. I'm a bit worried about needing the crap to do the 80-85 86-90 cap quests though.


[EDIT] Btw, did SE ever remove the level caps on the add-on missions? My brother wants to get them done, but I recall the 60-cap fights were a bitch to get people for.

Sam/war can proc for red GKT, Sword, club, PLM, Earth crusher(staff). Anything I am missing

Edit: SAM/war is fine at tanking carabosse and its KI NMs with just a whm?(tbh only fought him a few times so just checking with like 10+)

Square Enix accounts that use security tokens, however, will never have their logins restricted.

I use a token, so this shouldn't be the problem.

Edit: I can log on to characters that aren't using Square Enix accounts, but I can't log into characters that do. I can, however, log in to the Square Enix Account Management website with no issues. Interesting.

I found out how to fix it. Go to the FFXI POL Official page and click on the link to Square Enix Account Management System. Log in there and it will force you to register which Country you live in. After you do that you can log in just fine.

This guy is way too into FFXI PVP, but I'm sure he has some counter to that. He shouts for 50k matches and pays 1mil if you kill him. He has all kinds of stupid resist gear and I personally got destroyed the one time I fought him for shits and giggles. lolpvp etc.

Unrelated to country settings; you likely changed it just as they'd fixed their fuck-up. I didn't change anything (I'd already selected a country quite a while ago), and I can log in now.

Quick question for you all. I am trying to get the atma of the fetching footpad synthesized in abyssea altep. I have completed all of the quests from nanaa mihgo's camp and done all of the required dominion ops (all show in my completed quest log). However, the atma fabricant can't find any memories to use. Any idea why this memory isn't showing up to be synthesized into atma? I realize that going by wiki for the requirements isn't always the best idea, but it is all I have atm.

can the sch savant equip be changed after using the JA for example legs with conserve mp or must they also be equipted while casting the spell?

I got over a quarter million exp per hour in a party yesterday. You really should just shell out the extra $30 if you want to even remotely enjoy playing this game.
