That really depends a lot on what you're cleaving.

What is the enhancement to Feather Step exactly from Charis toeshoes +1? Is it further enhanced on the +2?

More importantly, do we really have any numbers on how much exactly critical evasion is lowered from Feather Step? What would be the process to test the amount of critical hit rate it grants to PCs meleeing the target?

No one actually knows. There were some admirable attempts to test it on Alla, but they ended up hand waving and saying it adds about 1% crit hit rate to Feather Step because they never reached statistical significance. Their approach was correct though, in that they parsed with continuous level 5 Feather step and multi-hit weapons. Turn around every new monster and back tank until level 5 Feather step.

I personally just accept that regardless of what it does, Feather Step is our only other offensive step, so I use it after Box.

If you're looking to solo, you can de-agro the pets if you run around long enough and be just left with JoFort (although he'll still be in reflect mode)

In another thread something came up about facing the correct direction to get the Bhaflau Remnants ramparts to pop NMs. I tried using the search function and scanning the threads but was getting anywhere, can someone please elaborate or point to the relevant part in the correct thread?

Someone was trolling you lol... direction has no bearing on NM popping, and only by spamming/getting lucky will you see them.

Yes, its why Catacleaving is best done with a Pluto's Staff (or Yama's if you're on a mage job).

I've 4-manned on WAR+WHM and MNK+WHM (2x DD+WHM dualbox) with semi-decent gear but no empyreans. Had to use martello on one of the WHM and meds on the other.

Are the elemental Debuff spells (Choke/Burn etc) effected by weather effects, and was this ever tested (that you know of) if you have an answer

I woould think the interrupt rate would be horrible it you have a lot of mobs hitting you (assuming you would use like sheep song or some other sleep spell)

I've trio'd it before , NIN (Kannagi) + WHM/SCH + BLM (for triggering) , basically just DMG him as fast as possible when he flies , WS when he's TPing , turn when he's casting , have WHM or BLM dispel Dread Spikes as soon as possible , he's quite resistant to dark-based Dispel , have them equipped with Merciless Matriarch at least for M.acc , don't forget to turn when he's readying Terror Eye while standing , & it's piece of cake , only threat while standing is Bloody Claw , if your WHM is fast enough , it's easy , just have them always cure you full.

Charged Whisker/Thermal Pulse, Frypan/Whirl of Rage, Sheep Song/Soporific.

Atma: Lion/MAB in all other slots (all 3 if you don't have Lion). Put up Animating Wail for recasts and Cocoon as well as Battery Charge. Best done with another puller. If another puller, sleep when they hit camp, Ascetic's + Burst Affinity Charged Whisker. Should do a stupid amount of their HP, maybe even oneshot if your gear is amazing. Follow with Whirl + attempted Sleep (or partner sleep). Frypan if that fails. Actinic Burst/Filamented Hold are nice for getting sleeps up. Finish with Thermal.

I have a handful of questions.

1. I've recently started soloing in Abyssea-Vunkerl for skillups and Magians since I hit 90. For lights in Vunkerl there's those ephemeral mobs near the start that seem to repop really fast as opposed to in some other camps. Are there ephemerals that do that in every zone? And if so, where?

2. At Lv75 the WSC on WSs and BLU spells were reduced by 83%. Is it still 0.83 at Lv90 or has the value continued to go down as the level cap has increased?

3. I haven't brought BLM up to 90 yet but I was wondering what people (Humes I guess, HP-wise) do for triggering latent, especially in Abyssea. Is it possible to to get Cruor MP buffs and still get enough -HP to trigger, or do BLMs in that situation avoid getting that buff since it comes with the HP boost? Or do people not use latent in those situations? I've noticed if you click off a cruor buff it comes back in a few seconds.

4. In the talk page for some BLU spell on ffxiclopedia someone alludes to an MAB cap that has only now been discovered since Atmas and such made it practical to hit. Is this for real, or just wiki misinformation?

5. For anyone who has done the STR path of magian weapons (sword in particular) since the update that changed weather kills to 5-per, did you seek out fire weather for your trials or just say "fuck it" and do them the long way on firesdays? I know it happens more frequently in summer, but I remember from years ago the weather NPCs being the least reliable about mentioning fire weather in their dialog moreso than any other element. If you did, what zones did you use?

3. Clicking the buff resets your hp to base before buff but Sorcerer's Ring requires your latent hp without buffs, which in abyssea after cruor HP buff is deep in Red HP after merit abyssites. If you want to use Sorc ring proc it the old way and don't get HP buff.
