Ive seen a few references to attack speed capping and people not using DW if over a certain haste/DW value but missed the info that explains it. Can anyone link the thread where this was explored or reply explaining what the cap is and at what point you would stop using DW+ on NIN?

Missions do NOT give you ranks - you still have to do each and every rankup yourself with Campaign battles. The mission progress just makes it so you can NOT rank DOWN anymore

What is the most effective strat to lowman in WoE these days? What is the lowest number of people reasonably able to be somewhat successful there, as far as farming coins is concerned anyway.

If you want the lowest, I've cleared slimes with 3. WHM + MNK/DNC + sac without too much difficulty. If you can get 5/6 without alerting the server that you're going to do WoE you might as well though, since you'll get 5 chests anyway and speed things up.

1. Crafters don't necessarily need to have synergy leveled, you just need to have one of each in the party in order to meet the requirements for it to let you attempt the synergy. Ideally you want at least 1 person with synergy leveled to make it easier, if not more... this synergy recipe in particular looks very difficult to be honest so you probably want multiple people helping out. 1-3 with synergy leveled feeding fewell, 1 using safety lever, 1-2 repairing the furnace.

2. Person trading the materials doesn't need synergy leveled. You just want someone with synergy leveled to do the fewell feeding, as it means less impurities added per feed.

I just came back to the game recently and noticed there is about 0 chance of getting a party for a sub 30 job, is there a good solo guide for this? I have a few jobs I'd like to get to 30 so I can eventually leech some exp.

I just came back to XI after a 2.5 year break (damn friends started playing again and I'm back). I was wondering how all the jobs are fairing now? I've heard mixed reviews from my friends about various jobs and the massive changes since the introduction of Abyssea, Atma's and all of the new gear. Could someone either pm me or reply with a basic breakdown of how effective (or ineffective) each job is nowadays?

Wildfire. BLU's physical spells are shit and magical take too long to cast/recast.

COR or RNG with wildfire, I've 2 shot Shinryu and 3 shot Rani from 90% as RNG with Wildfire, COR can get away with /rdm sub, and they have their mab rolls, so there's more potential there, gearwise they share almost the same mab gear.

I use the clear demilune abyssite to farm for lights, and it gets annoying when it changes to the colorful one. If I were to keep the colorful demilune abyssite and purchase the clear one again, will the colorful one take precedent over the clear one?

It will track both but your log will still say Colorful resonates ect. Just hope you dont pop the t2? or Radar to check what mob it is.

The most recent update up'ed the exp for mobs outside of abyssea. This should make leveling relatively quickly. As for soloing guides the one I usually use is this: http://campsitarus.blogspot.com/ I know its some work but I look at the site, get the mobs the recommend and make guesses as to what is best for my level solo. Usually worms are the best way to go if available.

Is Cataclysm modified by MAB or only dark dmg affinity? Trying to work on dark dmg affinity staff and figure i'll -ga mobs down, and then cataclysm to death.

Was hoping minikin, ultimate, beyond would be a nice hybrid for high -ga dmg, but also WS buff.

Dark Affinity and MAB affect Cataclysm. MAB MAB Cosmos.
