Is Avatar Pdt- capped at 87% or can it go higher with gear and what not? Thinking of making a Pdt- staff if it means I can get back to 100%. I miss soloing in Abyssea D:

Unfortunately, yes; it is capped somewhere around 87.5% from what I was able to gather. At first I hoped that they only nerfed DG to 37.5% for avatars, but stacking other PDT- (to include the pet staff @7%) showed the same results. Luckily I was able to prove this before I got beyond the 7% mark on the staff and quit. Until it changes, we'll just have to level BST if we want 100% PDT- on our pets.

What gun should I use on COR between 75ish and lv85 Armageddon?

None if you don't have one already, really. 75->85 should take about 3 hours if you get a decent party, 5-8 if they suck. Just go /whm and play JP style, or if you really have to amuse yourself with DDing, use dagger and spam evisceration.

so, dualboxing carabosse, it's easy, but time consuming. the only danger i'm in is from the spells and others shaking their fist at me i took cara over them . I was thinking bennu's atma as my third for the +100 wind resist. What do you guys think? I have a -5% MDT dark ring, but thats about it as far as mdt gear goes, and ninja's options aren't too great. Ideas?

Invest in a better MDT build, it'll be useful everywhere, not just on Carabosse, then w/ shellra V you should be able to just eat the spells. Less hp than mnk but you'd only get hit by the -gas, not the t5s and they wouldn't come close to putting me in danger w/ my MDT build when I did mnk + whm.

its basicly the same as it was. start at a city and move further way every few levels till lv30.

yeah, you get the job to 30 using all the old content you did before (but the xp rates are higher now!!) and then you abyssea to 90 in a day or two.

XP rates outside of abyssea are much higher than they were (+100% is last I read, have not done any xping myself so don't take my word for it). Once you hit 30, you can go into Abyssea (Grauberg, Altep, and Ule to be exact) with whatever group and do ops for xp (similar to fov if you are familiar with it, but no cooldown). 30-90 in a day or two is very possible by doing this.

There's another popular way inside abyssea which includes AoE killing of mobs (if you are not going into one of the zones previously listed) which is fairly quick as well. As an example, we had an old friend recently come back to the game and got her 76-81 yesterday just casually farming NMs and doing some ops for her here and there if our target NMs were being fought (4-5 hours of work).

If you get a good EXP party in Abyssea you're looking at 660ish/kill before bonuses from doing Dominion.

Monsters outside Abyssea got their EXP doubled iirc.

My account seems to be fine with my Content IDs intact even after 7 months of being unsubscribed, but my brother needs to get it done, but we're both waiting for the month to turnover first before resubscribing.
