think it only needs to be on when you cast it to get the bonus from +1 or +2

Can confirm what mcb said, Only needs to be on when casting Miga, particularly usefull on mobs like Alfard / Hedjedtjet who use Critical hp moves, or TP moves that just hit like trucks.

so, dualboxing carabosse, it's easy, but time consuming. the only danger i'm in is from the spells and others shaking their fist at me i took cara over them . I was thinking bennu's atma as my third for the +100 wind resist. What do you guys think? I have a -5% MDT dark ring, but thats about it as far as mdt gear goes, and ninja's options aren't too great. Ideas?

Old post, but Ninja MDT is cake, Resenment cape, Twilight torque, denali hands. HQ merman rings+Earrings is 24% already. Shellra V is like 24.6 or something. only 1-2% from cap. Lore feet? or that 5mdt ring you already have.

Edit: looked up shellra V max merits 27.34, so above set without lore and your MDT ring your over cap.

Works in Sea / salvage ToAU areas ect I thought? I know I have used it in Nin tanking sets for years now in all end-game content.

Though sea would be a expection since its still conquest area somewhat? because I know it works in sea. dunno if it was really working in ToAU / past zones

Since Signet does nothing in Abyssea, I was under the impression that it didn't work in those areas. Resentment doesn't work in ToAU areas, and don't think it works in WotG areas, but not sure on that one.

Without cape, Twilight torque + 2 good Dark rings Denali and merman earrings is still 23, adding to capped shellra V still caps out. Though seems resentment cape is going to storage now.

It only works in Signet areas last anybody confirmed. But you could still use Colossus Mantle/Leuitenant's Sash.

From Wiki; the area information has been pretty standard and known for some time now.

In areas outside own nation's control:
In order to obtain the benefits, you must have either Signet, Sanction, or Sigil active.
Furthermore, these benefits will always be active in Lumoria (Sea), Dynamis, Limbus, and Promyvion, as long as Signet/Sanction/Sigil is active.
These benefits will never be active in Aht Urhgan, Wings of the Goddess, or Abyssea areas.

What's the best third atma that I can equip for both general DD and Stringing Pummel? I don't have Shinryu access yet. I know the first two would are a given:

I have been away from the game for about a year, and I was wondering if AV has become farmable with the level caps increased? How about killable in a reasonable fashion?

Many LS have killed, fight takes under a minute. Perfect Defense + DD zerg = win.

The gear is all basically worthless now though.

Why is it that when cleaving sometimes I'll get 10 chest all the way down to 2 chest from 20 mobs?

This ofcourse after killing 8-9 vnm with pearl and 9-10 emph.
