Asuran Fists is an 8-hit WS, so the majority of your damage is coming from just being able to land all the hits. I'd say focus on hitting at least 90% acc with it, then stack as much attack/mods on top of that as you can.

That being said, Asuran is a pretty pathetic WS inside Abyssea (Ascetics Fury beats it pretty easily, Victory Smite utterly destroys it), so it's only real use is outside Abyssea if you don't have Smite. Since accuracy is pretty much automatically capped outside abyssea right now, you can just stack attack/mods.

That is not true lol. Someone smarter then me said 66% is the chance of 8/8 in a sequence or something. Need someone good at math but its not 66% is way higher.

Is there anything perticularly worthwhile for rdm waist slot for idle set? Can't see anything obviously great. Ditto 2nd ear slot if I haven't got that -1%PDT from alex or the refresh wotg earring yet (1st ear is ethreal)

Sooooo Ramuh is going to be merged into Bahamut and I wonder who here plays on Bahamut? Maybe we can make some nice new friends :D Some info of Bahamut I should know?

Ramuh details:
- Mostly JP server
- Most JPs are rude like always but you can find cool ones
- JPs play even till 5am their time XD
- I might be wrong but there is no good bigger NA LS on Ramuh beside Pixies (which is EU+NA mostly) idk how Monster Inc. is doing now (pets LS).
- There are few small NA/EU groups that know how to play but most NA are mix of total noobs with semigood players.
- CrazyChocobos only polish LS on all servers! :D

My impression of Bahamut:
- Mostly JP, followed by EU, and then NA (especially PST) - I knew a lot of NA's claiming Bahamut was empty, especially PST.
- Of the JP's I've encountered, most are nice, and a fair few know some sort of english too.
- JP's also seem to play all hours of the day here too. (I'm EU)
- I have absolutely no clue on the state of endgame shells so someone else will have to fill you in on that.
- There seems to be a quite large proportion of german speaking people from EU, Clanderplanlosen, being the main german shell I know, but there's a good proportion in Cake too (both social shells).
- Full variety of players on Bahamut, from downright awful, to some very good players.
- And something about someone called Box, who bot claims everything if he's there.

Good luck finishing any Empyreans or hell even fighting any +2 mobs in Abyssea. Shit's already completely dominated by JPs everywhere.

There is a 66% chance of landing all 8 hits of Asuran Fists with capped Acc, but you will average landing 7.6 hits (8*.95). That's why the "Oh man, you won't even land 8 hits all the time" stat is fairly misleading.

Unfortunately, no.

I solo'd him all the time as RDM back when I was building Blob pops for my OA2 Polearm... So when I saw that I had to do him for a Bow Trial, I figured it would be just as easy on RNG. However, the mounds that you pin him on will let you cast spells through them, but will not let you shoot through them. So you're kinda hosed on RNG.

I just ended up having friends help me for some and doing shout groups for the rest.
