Can buy a Satchel, activate it then deactivate it if you don't want to input numbers everytime you log on.

What's the 'trick' to keep mobs from leveling up when cleaving? When a group of mobs is EP, it's easy to pull them, bouncing off of PDT-, but after a couple of pulls they level up to EM's and T's making them impossible to pull without dying. Currenly puller has viccitude, Hp+, and ambition for pulling, and 41% pdt-, and though I can get more pdt- on her, I don't see it making a huge difference against EM/T mobs.

Long pulls prevent leveling up. If you have random tards killing them on the side, they'll fuck everything up.

Seems to be Cataclysm. I think they might be assuming Yama's Staff +2? If so, then it's 2.00 3.00 3.75, otherwise it would be 2.70, 4.00, 5.00 which just doesn't seem right . Maybe someone can confirm?

Asked in the security update thread but didn't get an answer. When XIV came out I linked my XI account which I had given to a friend to my SEID so he could have a discounted alt character and I could get shoes. I've since returned with my alt and I'd like to link it to my SEID as well and activate the token in the XIV collectors set to give us both satchels. The only problem is he lives in the UK and I live in the US. Does anyone have any experience with a shared SEID and the new security system? I logged into XIV since this update and it didn't cause any problems so I don't think it would, but I'm hesitate to do it because of all the problems it will cause if it does interrupt our services every time one of us logs in.

Try asking Matix on Ragnarok, he did it on RNG. Had to use a different pin spot because can't shoot over the rock that rdm uses.

Depends how dedicated to the job you are. The job can basically gear itself for free. It all depends on how much time you can put into getting the gear and your resources in obtaining such gear.

Damage taken sets are whats going to cost you, with the assumption that you can not synth them youself. A majority of the pieces can be obtained for free though.

If you find that you do need to spend money, you can make a decent amount of money in abyssea through chests, npcing rings, and buy armor with cruor and npcing that.
