Mmm so the Assailer Chariot (Discoid) is cock blocking our 6-man to farm up some raja sets to mess with. This is the first time we've done it with 6, first was larger amount of people for Raja kill etc.

I've been told mnk + whm can do it, I've heard of dnc + whatever. Can not figure out how these groups are dealing with discoid when it hits hard. What am I doin wrong on this thing?

If you've got a nuking job and time, you can have a nin or war get tp and proc red for KI while a mage pin/nukes it at the little fence on the hill towards wivres. I got tired of playing migawari games with chariot on nin and just pin nuked it to death with myself on sch/rdm and one other person.

Wtf happened? The only changes I've made to my computer was updating to the latest version of Adobe Acrobat, which I did earlier today. Can anyone help?

Video card failing. Shut it down, blow dust off the video card's fan/heatsink and try again, and if it still happens replace the video card or call the company who made the computer for more help.

When I first tested Griffon's Claw, I used Infernal Scythe since it's constant damage. (Found it as a separate 1.2 term.) You can use Infernal Scythe to see how it interacts /w Cosmos or WS helm or whatever else fairly easy. I'm exhausted and I don't want to run the test now but it's fairly easy for anyone to do.

You can kite nuke the chariot w/movement speed easily. However, that's not the best plan if you wanna do multiple rajas and want to lowman him.

All WS's were done with Ultimate and Cosmos atmas's active, the 3rd atma would be Griffon's Claw where applicable. Seeing as how the increase is exactly 20% on both ends, something tells me its seperate

1-Someone with WSDMG hat can test if they stack? I dont have one on the char in question
2-for WS's with TP mods affecting damage, is GC stronger than smiting blow?

For MNK...

Fully merited Shellra V is MDT -27.34% (70/256). Capped MDT is 128/256. Overall, you'd be looking to gain ~23% MDT (58/256)... might want to go with more for soloing, but generally you should have Shellra V up.

You'll have a few options here... depending on gear available. I mainly focused on sets that allow you to keep capped haste, as some fights you'd benefit from keeping MDT gear on for certain phases Empousa and Shinryu come immediately to mind.

Tantra+2/Twilight(5%)/Merman's(2%)/Merman's(2%)
Avalon(5%)/Denali(2%)/Dark(6%)/Epona
Colossus(2%)/BlackBelt/Tantra+2/Tantra+2

-24% MDT, 25% Haste, get to keep Epona Ring on...

Might be the best build out there if you are lucky enough to have a D.Ring.

You get to keep 25% Haste, -24% MDT, and get to keep 11% Double Attack, 3% Triple Attack and an extra 20 attack from Brutal/Epona/Atheling...

And for Impetus it's probably beneficial to go with:

Tantra+2/Twilight(5%)/Merman's(2%)/Brutal
Tantra+2/Denali(2%)/Defending(10%)/Dark(4% or better)
Atheling/BlackBelt/Tantra+2/Tantra+2

On that last build, if you can get a 6% Dark Ring in the mix, you can use Tantra Hands or something else instead of Denali.

Cancelled ID or not, it will still take the name slot when you get swapped. You can't just wait with logging in and expect that to matter at all. If you don't create a mule with your name (or if someone else has the name, obviously) before the merge, you're keeping your name.

Well, I mean ignoring the merge entirely - what's the process to rename? Even once I log on to Shiva (after the merger), isn't there a process people use to rename their character? I'm pretty sure it's been going on for years and years.

Cataclysm is 2.00 3.00 4.00 iirc? (It's 1n 1.5n 2n or very close, not sure what n is) so wsing around 100tp GC won't beat Smiting. Depends on the WS.

For brew, though, it will replace Ultimate (Grif/Smite/<elemental DMG+>).

Yeah I was thinking maybe we should just go as a few BLM's and a WHM with nin and war for procs. Build sets > change > fight sets later. I haven't picked up NIN seriously since before Migawari was even out. Maybe I'll give that a shot first.

Infernal /w Cosmos + Griffon's Claw + STR+4 grip - 916
Infernal /w Cosmos + Griffon's Claw + STR+4/WS DMG+2% MKD Hat - 932
(Different terms, GC calculated first):
764 * 1.2 = 916
916 * 1.02 = 934

(Different terms, MKD calculated first):
764 * 1.02 = 779
779 * 1.2 = 934

(Same term):
764 * 1.22 = 932 *Checks*

Gonna go with them being the same term~

Just to note, the WS DMG+25% on relic weapons is a separate term from MKD head.
