2) I typically use VV/RR/AoA. If you're asking for cleaving only atma setup, someone else will have to chime in but I've been told VV/GC/RR is fine.

Why is it that the amount of lights gained from HQ murex/amoebans seems to vary? Some days 3 HQ azure will cap me, other days it seems take 10+, as if they aren't giving enhanced lights at all.

thf has it really easy for MDT. to cap w/ shell 5:

avalon breastplate (-5%), twilight torque (-5%), merman's earrings x2 (-4% total)
denali hands (-2%), merman's rings x2 (-8% total), colossus mantle (-2%)

gives you -26%, which will cover shell 5 or only-unlocked shellra 5. can drop mantle or hands with a whm's capped shell 5.

solo you can just add pieces of the lore set for a couple more points.

Individual elemental resistances don't lower flat damage from nukes, right? They just contribute to your chance to partially/fully resist a spell?

As in, if I wear my Bullwhip Belt, a given spell isn't going to hit harder unresisted than it would otherwise?
