Teams would have to be retarded to not include a "games played" clause and minimal guaranteed money in Bob Sanders' contract.

Hello there, I don't believe we've met.
Jeremy Shockey tweeting that Carolina is signing him. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
It's being fairly widely reported that they are expecting the NFLPA and owners to extend the lockout deadline. Great news, but kills the "March 3" hype.
Making the thread title even more retarded.
Meh, they can vote to extend the CBA for a couple of weeks. Not like other unions and business groups haven't done the same.
They're going to do a 24 hour extension. could be good news, maybe they think they're close enough to resolve in the next 24 hours, or they're equally pessimistic and just trying too appease everyone.
Window dressing. The owners are trying to shed some of the image that they've planned a lockout from the beginning. One cheap gesture they can publicize 'Well we tried with that extension but golly those players just don't listen to reason!' is better than nothing.
Vikes cut Tavaris. JOEY WEB ERA BEGIN.
Atogwe signs 26M/5yr deal with Skins.
And they're prolly extending 24hrs to work on a longer extension. I doubt they will have something in place for a new CBA within 24hrs.
Actually Rosario and Barnidge are really good, deep ball TEs a la Winslow, Pettigrew, while Jeff King is more of your typical TE like Manumaleuna and Graham. One constant about John Fox is that he does not utilize TEs, he likes them to block and be viable 3rd and short options. Notice Wesley Walls is a left over from the Capers/Seifert era? I know Florio's dumb ass echoed what you said earlier today, but hes a goddamn dumb fuck.
If youve ever seen any of our games, even when we were in the playoffs every other year and even in the SB, we dont use and never have used the TE much. King and Rosario both had like 3 catches combined in the SB while having Tedy Bruschi and Larry Izzo guarding both, which was a clear mismatch. Trust me, I know you guys think and like to make out like we're like 2-30 every year, but that was our first time being that shitty since the Seifert era back in what? 2001, 2002? The problem was never our TEs, it was our coach that never ever used them. Combine that with Fox entering the last year of a contract as a lame duck and not giving a single fuck.
Speaking of which, coincidence that the Broncos cut Daniel Graham today? Nope. Check Gronkowski's production this year, it will drop substantially under Fox and his tools.
Bob Sanders signs 1 year deal with Chargers.

This is god damn church right here. That's really why I'm not sure about Shockey, unless Rivera is actually going to *gasp* utilize him. That's really the story across the Panthers roster. Average and above talent not being utilized...at all...
Enjoy that overpaid injured reserve roster spot, San Diego.
