Sweep the Giants? They're usually good for 1 of 2. In the past, I've always split division games 3-3 but the Redskins are so bad that it "should" be considered an automatic sweep. I would remove the Bears and Jets from that list and add the Giants. 12-4. Book it!

pats/eagles game is in philly - I'm really curious to see how the philly D plays the pats. It's the first game against them since jim johnson died and he always played them well in the past.

Uh, the Giants have lost 6 straight games to the Eagles. Don't expect anything to change anytime soon either. Maybe it's 7 including that incredible playoff loss, can't remember.

Matt Ryan has trouble against the Eagles so I don't think he loses to them. They'll end up losing to Miami or Buffalo or some other irrelevant team (Oakland in 09, redskins last year)

Also calling a loss mid-season where Henery misses a field goal that would have won the game, and sports radio is flooded the next day asking why we didn't keep David Akers.

holy fuck brandon marshall:

Police decided not to charge Brandon Marshall’s wife Michi-Nogami Marshall for a domestic incident back on April 22 which she was arrested for.

The story was downplayed publically by Marshall (understandable), but a group of incident reports released Thursday paint a troubling scene of the day in question. Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post did the legwork and found the following details in the police report:

1. Nine police officers showed up on the scene. They found a “large pool of blood” in the foyer of the house and multiple trails of blood leading throughout the house.

2. Marshall had several clean cuts to his wrist and to his abdomen. Nogomi-Marshall had a bruise on her left check.

3. A bloody 13-inch kitchen knife was found laying next to a bloody magazine clip from a firearm on a table outside Marshall’s office. Blood was also found on a variety of clothing.

There are a lot more sad details here, but you get the idea. Marshall has since revealed in an emotional press conference that he has Borderline Personality Disorder.

Mental illness is nothing to joke about. We’ve seen some ridiculous and ignorant statements said about Marshall in the last two weeks, especially related to his how the illness will affect his football career.

The details in the police report indicate why Marshall and his wife have been kept apart by police, and why Marshall was so in need of treatment.

We hope Marshall can continue on his path to recovery and health. It’s rarely a straight path, and it’s never easy.
