Agreed but you really cant take much from these games, as you know. It's all about the individual battles for the new guys and seeing how they hold up to the harder competition. To be honest I'm expecting a 9-7 season from the Giants, but this whole off-season is eerily reminiscent of the 2007 off season.

sorry but he was a bit overrated in 09 too. still a smart player with a nose for the football(and good hands), but definitely on the downside physically

btw Miz, Tori Gurley had 2 catches for 21 yards and one bad drop.

Scott Tolzien was only 5 for 12 for 64 yards in his Chargers debut.

This has been your Tori Gurley and Scott Tolzien update.

Huge if, but yeah it sounds like they're trying to make themselves old instead of young. IDK how that's a reason to get excited. Sharper would be a backup (I think) and Housh would be making the WR corps too crowded unless they release someone like Edelman. Can only have 2 WR on the field with 2 TEs after all

Edit: Jesus, apparently I missed an entire page. You can probably disregard this then

well I like the darren sharper thing at least, as we need leadership at the safety position with the 3 top people at that position having something like 7 years total experience and it seems like Bill is very unhappy with meriweather right now.

I don't mind the older passrushers at all, as we had nothing at that position anyways. Literally nothing. No good young ones out on the market for a decent price, so bill just added a bunch on one year contracts and will probably cut a few before the season starts. He had to try something at that position. No fucking clue why they would be looking at Housh at all.

The pats got a lot younger in the last few years, so adding a few aging players isn't too bad at all. Their WRs are a little bit up there now, but w/ price and edelmen working as hard as they are, we wont be in serious jeopardy when the currents retire or start sucking. Are running backs are fucking young, too. sammy morris wont make the team and kevin faulk will probably just make it to mentor. Almost all of the starters on the team are under 26-28 or so, it's just the backup and rotated positions that are getting old. Bill loves those 1 year contracts.
