Von Miller is already on my last goddamn nerve. Its the fucking draft and youre about to be a official millionaire, why not shut the fuck up about the goddamn Cowboys and how you wish and pray that youd fall all the way to nine so they can draft you. I hope he fucking Sergio Kindles himself and is out of the league in 2 years.

Again, this stupid shit only happens in fucking Dallas man. Jerruh's brainwashing is a helluva drug.

I'd wish for far worse, but since this is a "happy" night, ill spare those sorts of comments. Is a mama Talib stray bullet too much to ask?

The hate is strong with this one.

Can't blame him. He grew up a Cowboys fan and actually went to my high school (Desoto High School). It's a dream to play for your favorite sports team. Miz hates children and their dreams. Hope you don't plan on running for any kind of office. Blackmailing ya!

I have a question Miz, do you hate the Cowboys for being so popular, and for their fan base?

Dude, Miz is a white guy who thinks he's black. If there's anything that would kill his chances of having a political office in the south, it's this.

Not sure who else here all reads the TMQ column on ESPN but its usually pretty good. He breaks down the labor talks with pretty much the same conclusion.

Just a semantic disagreement between us then. If a team like the Cardinals isn't high on Gabbert, they aren't going to draft him just so they have somebody to throw out there. As you know, a high draft pick is a big investment. I originally just took issue with the way you made it sound like mass panic and that there would be a rush to draft QBs because there was just no way Kolb and Palmer were going to be traded due to the lockout. Again, semantics, so probably a silly argument.

There are tons of squads that will be targeting Kolb and Palmer but one 2 teams that are going to land them.
    I definitely wouldn't say "tons."

It sure would be an enormous weight off a team's shoulders if they knew what their roster looked like prior to the draft. Especially the big hole at QB. I know I'm focusing on QB but this goes for every position. You want to have as many holes filled prior to the draft so you can draft based on need.
Sure it would be a weight off of their shoulders. I heard Miami might make a run at Deangelo Williams, for example, but that doesn't mean with the lockout they have to abandon that thought and take Ingram. And the last sentence I think you meant to say value.

Mass panic? lol. Are we reading the same post? All I said was teams would go into the draft with question marks on their roster because of the lockout instead already knowing who they had signed and traded for if there wasn't a lock out. I'm sure Kolb and Palmer will get traded, but I think picks will be wasted since they weren't traded prior to the draft. I thought I gave a pretty clear cut example of how if the Panthers were able to land Orton in the offseason (prior to draft) then they wouldn't even be considering taking Cam with the 1st overall pick.

Seeing how there are 32 teams and at least 11 of them need QBs, I'd say 34% qualifies as tons but tomato tomatoe

It would have just been nice to have better organization and strategy if free agency was available prior to the draft. Not sure why you don't think the way the draft has been going your whole life being interrupted and changed isn't a big deal.

What's your definition of value? If it's taking the best talent on the board then I disagree. You wouldn't see the Patriots, Colts, Packers, etc taking a QB anywhere in the first 4 rounds regardless if it was the best talent available. Teams, for the most part, draft based on need.
