    Setting up Dynamic DNS

Looking for a free dynamic dns service. Any suggestions? First thing that came to mind was no-ip or dyndns but I was wondering if there are any better ones.

    Thanks in advance.

I use DynDNS. What do you want to use it for?

Well, just so I don't have to memorize my IP address ;o I plan to set up port forwarding so I can set up my own sftp server, console access to my box, be able to hit my torrent web gui remotely, etc.

Stupid question. If I bought my own domain, how do I update the IP address associated with the domain from the dynamic dns service?

DynDNS works really well for me. If your router doesn't support Dynamic DNS services, you can also use DynDNS's own IP-updating app that logs into your account and updates the IP as yours changes.
