Celebrating friends b-day at casino. they have a V-Day buffet. All you can eat steak, prime rib, crab legs, lobster. well limit to 1 lobster tail. the rest is all you can eat.

Planning on doing as little as possible on the day; getting in pizza, putting on a movie and snuggling on the sofa as soon as the little one is asleep. :D Next weekend going to a lovely steakhouse for a meal.

Wife and I are not celebrating tomorrow, gonna do it today instead. I have steaks marinating in the fridge. Grilling them for dinner with broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes, with a chocolate sweetheart cake for dessert and a bottle of wine. Bought her card two weeks ago, and her gift from me is some scrapbooking pages she's wanted that are being shipped.

I also bought her a card from our son and a Brighton necklace that he's going to give her (he's two).

We also need to fill out 25 Valentines for his class this afternoon.

Funny thing is Valentine's Day falls close to our anniversary so we end up celebrating it anyways. I don't place Valentine's Day any different than others, we just use it as a day where we can unwind and pay full attention to each other when other days we just don't have time for it.

Meh. Never really put it up on a pedestal.
