Radiohead - The King of Limbs

Maybe I just haven't listened to it enough yet, but I'm not a huge fan so far. I'd rank it down towards the very bottom with Pablo Honey. After how much I loved their last cd, In Rainbows, I was pretty disappointed with The King of Limbs. Maybe I expected too much or maybe I just haven't listened to it enough yet.

Definitely not an easy listen but I am going to give it some time. I remember feeling like In Rainbows wasn't amazing on the first couple listens, now i think its maybe their 3rd best album.

It's funny cause that's the way it goes for me too... I remember thinking OK Computer was very wtf the first few listens after The Bends, then some time goes by and you realize how good it is and you're like holy shit. I gotta say tho, I love this band beyond description but the last time I saw them play it was boring as fuck.

2 new tracks, Supercollider and The Butcher, were released on a 12" vinyl in the UK today. The vinyls will be in the US/canada in June, but you can already get the songs on demonoid.

i think, with radiohead, you always have to give an album a few good listens before you can decide if you like it or not. i didn't like most of their albums the first time i heard them (with the exceptions of OK computer and kid A) but they've all grown on me. in rainbows is still my least favorite, but i definitely appreciate it a lot more than i did the first time i heard it.

that said, i'm very excited!
