Couldn't really understand what Gordon was saying, but the way they incorporated the poster in to the trailer was awesome.

i've always got this robocop-1 vibe from nolan's bat-universe. with gotham being old detroit. towards the end of robocop-1, robo is hunted by the cops and by a new machine that is supposed to be 'better'

the corruption in detroit is represented by the alliance between OCP's second in command, Dick Jones and Clarence Boddicker. When robo gets too successful, Jones has to give the criminals crazy weapons as well as use his own robot-thing against robo.

i wonder if bane is hired by the gotham powers-that-be to 'replace' batman in someway, and/or hunt him down. like bane seen as a 'good' guy (but not of course, and only put in power by the corruption in gotham) and batman viewed as a villain, hunted down by the cops as well.

in the teaser, the last shot shows batman exhausted (seems like he's breathing heavily or just scared), backing away...and if you look closely a person with some weapon is in the upper right-hand corner of the screen... reminds me of that scene in robocop where he gets shot up to hell, then shot up some more by the entire OCP police force
