Her has an action star seems weird. I'm used to her in loveable romantic comedies. Someone saying they don't know if they can picture an actor/actress in a role makes them a troll? Ok, want to make sure.

The stunt double pics from Catwoman's costume are hot. Rachel Dawes' character had like, zero sex appeal. Will be nice to have some eye candy to look at this time around.

I was thinking the "generic" look I mentioned might be because she doesn't have the resources that Wayne has, thus making more sense. But that leaves the question of where she got those high tech goggles. Shit screams Lucius Fox-tech.

Only heard/saw/cared about this today when Yahoo News made it pop up when I was reading my email, saying Anne Hathaway "cast" as Catwoman. So I understand if they miss printed that and apologize if I'm late.

Yeah, because Nolan hasn't cast a rom-com star in an action movie before...and it hasn't turned out to be one of the most brilliant decisions he's made, completely MAKING the film.

It's been done a lot. These are actors, after all.

Not everyone is some type-casted monkey like ashton kutcher, bruce willis, sylvester stalone, and just about any other big action star. The difference is that, for example, ashton kutcher makes a great dumb boyfriend in movies because that's who he is.

Heath Ledger wasn't a 'rom-com' star though. Before TDK, he'd already done serious work like BBM and lesser-known dramas like Candy. He had a few interesting scene-stealing roles too. And I think 'Two Hands' is very underrated. He made that when he was 18-19, but you wouldn't think it by watching. I never understood the backlash against him. People boiled down his career to a lot of the crap he was in, and ignored the roles that showed his depth as an actor. He did have a checkered resume, but I'd say that's because he was coming into his own still. The last couple of years of his life, he was getting into much better, serious, films. His career was already taking off before Dark Knight.

Ledger got his start in gritty indies and made academyawardwinnin Brokeback Mountain, Candy, and I'm Not There before Jokering, before those The Patriot, Four Feathers, Monster's Ball, and Two Hands. Some romcom shit mixed in, even some of these serious roles were in mediocre movies, but compared to Hathaway's filmography he looks like Daniel Day-Lewis.
