Him not wanting to follow into a shitty trend makes him stuck up? Plus, they said he will make audio adjustments to Bane's voice, just not do a complete redo of it. Nothing about that sounds stuck up to me. Just someone who seems to know what hes doing.

He can be stubborn, pompous, or a god damn defender of everything nice if you'd like. I don't care.

Point was that because he isn't following a trend, presumably because he respects his own movies enough not to do 3d, and that he isn't going to redo the voice(yes, he's changing it, but he was pretty frank with only adjusting it and not redoing it because, presumably, he respects what he's done) he wouldn't let someone make a sequel to his batman.

Batman will be rebooted. No one's even saying there will be a direct sequel to these.

In some respects, Nolan really fucked WB/DC with the way he did the batman films. The first two were quality, but they didn't leave the chance of tie-ins to other DC properties. There is just no chance that Green Lantern or Superman exist in the Nolan Batman world. I mean, even if they did something innocuous like having the Daily Planet on Bruce Wayne's desk, people would freak. Think about Cap's shield on the wall in the first Iron Man movie.

When they reboot, I hope they just jump into the movie. Everyone knows Batman, how he became Batman at this point. Just have it be a Batman that exists in a bigger world. Have even one little easter egg towards another DC hero(Flash would be a good choice imo) that comic fans will freak over and regular people will get over the course of a long enough period of time.

Uh, no, last page there was talk of levitt being robin and other stuff. It's only because you got caught up in something as small as a director being called stuck up that you turned what was an obvious point, because obviously it WILL be rebooted, into some kind of discussion

It's for the better. All Robin would do it take time away from the main plot since he'd have to have his character developed in the one single film to not look like he was thrown in for the sake of being there.
