Yeah I would have to guess as fast as this dude got all yolked up that he used some help getting there. I think I also remember reading something about him using roids in the past, so I'm sure he would take the easy road again, shit I would.....

/facepalm. He was talking about back acne, which you often get when taking steroids. Which he has admitted to using. Don't know why or for what reason they would add back acne with makeup.

Ouch. Been there done that. Always hated that shift. A lot of people are trying to say the acne is makeup. You're not alone. Hardy used steroids in the past, I don't see why he wouldn't use them again for the role. Even Stallone has gone public that he used them before filming the Expendables. It is what it is.

^- This. lol I love this day and age where we get on the internet and argue whether or not an ACTOR took steroids. Yeah, he did...and you know what? If they were going to pay me 3 mil to do a movie and wanted me to put on 40 lbs of muscle...so would I. Not to mention the "health risks" of using growth hormone and steroids correctly are slim to none. Most people that use like these guys find doctors to prescribe and explain how to use them.

I still don't think he used steroids. If you look at the pics of Bane at the football field, his arms really don't look that big.

I think, IMO, that steroids would do much more than that. I would have rather him have used them so he would look a bit more menacing, but I'm still satisfied with Bane's look overall.

This kind of reminds me of how comic/game heroines often lack their usual proportions just because the actresses to play the role don't exist or just aren't found. I'm not sure Hollywood is full of musclebound guys with enough acting chops to not get typecast much like how aforementioned women tend to in their own ways.
