Looks like AMC is gonna do a full trilogy showing of these movies just like they did with the Avengers marathon.

I did it for Avengers and I'm not sure how I feel about it. The fanbase was a little too hardcore. They clapped at every little thing and ruined parts of the movie. I'm pretty damn nerdy but I felt out of place there lol

Yeah...overall I loved the Avengers one I went to, but the bad part of it is like you said, the clapping and screaming at every little thing. I missed quite a few lines in the Avengers because of it.

Good point, I forgot to account for that. Wanted to enjoy the movie being on the big screen. Guess I'll go if they're willing to show the IMAX ver of TDK which I missed out on first time... which probably isn't going to happen for this event >_>

Sitting in a theater of people dressed as Batman and The Joker doesn't seem nearly as distracting as sitting between Thor and The Hulk for hours on end.

I got a bunch of friends to come to my house for the Avengers thing. We didn't go to the midnight showing on opening day, but we also didn't have to deal with the yahoos that would sit through 12 hours of Marvel movies in a theater.

It was a great experience.

To go or not to go. Could easily enjoy the first two on blu-ray from the comfort of my couch, but I never saw Batman Begins on the big screen..... Damn it. <_<

Yes, please stay home. We've already been given notice at work for a 3am and possible 6am showing for the midnight release. I'm going to rage hard if for "security" reasons we can't play the movie ahead of time (stupid digital movies). If I can't see it before I end up working all weekend for it, I'm going to start snapping necks when everybody asks me if I've seen it yet.

Wow, lol. I would go nuts if I was around it all that time, but couldn't see it. I'll most likely just get IMAX tickets for TDKR. I would get impatient sitting through two movies I have seen numerous times, waiting for TDKR to start.......

Bane

Little is known about Bane. He was born in prison and trained in the darkest forms of deception by the League of Shadows, but rumor has it he was cast out due to his extreme behavior.
