Supposed remake in 2015 with a new director talking the helm. Wonder how it will turn out, hopefully newer villains. I mean I'm all for 'realistic' super hero shit, but throw that shit out the window sometimes and have fun.

I always believe Batman is everything was said on this quote. So, he's not that type of hero like superman and the others.

Next one they gotta throw in maybe Calendar Man or actually do one on Victor Zasz. I know he was featured in the first Nolan film... but never really used. I would love to see one using him as a villian... or Deadshot would be cool too ! Deadshot would have worked in Nolanverse since he is just a Merc who never missed a shot ( until Batman made him miss ).

I hope the next reboot isn't that soon. It'll seem weak in comparison to this trilogy most likely. I feel the only reason Spiderman got away with it is because #3 sucked ass. And even then it was a 5 year break in between.

Never trust early reviews for a really hyped up movie. My friend told me one of the reviewers were bitching cause the Joker wasn't in this movie. lol

The Clear Channel radio personality said in today’s broadcast that the makers of Warner Bros‘ The Dark Knight Rises are surreptitiously trying to brainwash audiences by naming the film’s villain “Bane.” You know, like Mitt Romney’s former employer: Bain Capital. Rush Limbaugh says that moviegoers — especially “a lot of brain-dead people, entertainment, the pop culture crowd” – are “gonna hear Bane in the movie and they’re gonna associate Bain. The thought is that when they start paying attention to the campaign later in the year, and Obama and the Democrats keep talking about Bain, Romney and Bain, that these people will think back to the Batman movie… There are some people who think it’ll work. Others think you’re really underestimating the American people to think that will work.” Limbaugh adds: “You may think it’s ridiculous, I’m just telling you this is the kind of stuff the Obama team is lining up. The kind of people who would draw this comparison are the kind of people that they are campaigning to. These are the kind of people that they are attempting to appeal to.”

Batman comics introduced Bane in 1993. Actor Robert Swenson played the villain in the 1997 film Batman & Robin that starred George Clooney.

Another guy said it looked just like a transformers movie, heavy in action. Same guy gave Avengers a good review. Don't get me wrong, I loved Avengers. But if either of these looked like Transformers it wasn't Batman... From what I've seen of the movie anyways. And from what I know of Nolan's limited CGI usage.

@Tyrath: Yeah man these early reviewers, especially the negative ones, just like to trash shit or find something to complain about cause they get off on having better "sense of what is right in movies" or "critique" than the masses. lol
