I WAS SO GIDDY WHEN BANE BROKE THE BAT. Also, I almost feel like they left it so a new movie can be made with JGL without rebooting the series. And as cool as Natalia is, I didn't really buy Marion Cotillard as a villain in this one.

Really sucks about the shooting though. Thoughts with the victims and their family.

Edit: Also what was a 3 month old doing at a midnight showing?

Some punk ass white kids brought a tazer and threatened to taze us after the movie theater when we sat in their seats that their friends had been "saving," but their friends didn't say shit to us when we sat down. It was pretty funny when they ran away.

There was a 3 month old in the marathon I was at. Mother got an aisle seat and would leave quietly during the first two films.

The baby was FAR better than some other people at the movie.

I thought so as well and was disappointed at first that he didn't. But I thought about it and liked it better this way. I also prefer the screen going up with the ramp in the cave instead of fading to black with Alfred.

In regard to the ending

Nolan done with Batman but not Nightwing was the first thing I said to my friend walking out of the theatre. The killer croc reference might be pointing to a spinoff as well.

I actually didn't like the whole possibility of someone else taking over Batman's fight. It's Wayne's sworn oath to be Batman until he dies or the city no longer needs him. At the start of the movie, you got a sense that was what had happened, but Wayne didn't know what to do now that his role as Batman was over. I'd like to imagine that with everything that occurred with Bane, Gotham has more or less fixed its major crime problems again and no longer needs a hero like Batman. The difference this time is he has Selina to give him a life outside of the manor.

I still personally would have enjoyed it more if he was on some drug, to explain him punching a wall of concrete so damn hard. His voice didn't really 'stick' with me until his fight with Batman in the sewers. I dunno man I just keep hearing a pissed off old man, not some strong hardass villain.

Even regarding the spoilers you had to figure something was up with Talia especially when Bane calls her over. Some black guy in front of me laughed and yelled "WHAT?!" when she stabbed batman, was actually funny seeing his reaction.

Nolan's realistic view on the Batman franchise worked out well, but I want to see the goofy shit from the old days return in the next reboot of Batman.

Why does everything have to be 'realistic' now days? Thought movies and games were supposed to be fun and shit you could never see/do in real life.

Watched it, loved it, remembered what I wrote here, and laughed to myself... since I was joking when I wrote it...

10/10 Epic loved seeing my favorite arc (Knightfall and the touch of No Man's Land they add) even though it was largely predictable I still loved seeing it play out on screen.

I liked that they showed what toll it had taken on Wayne with the knee being blown out and the mental weakness he had gained from winning so many times.
I think Hardy did a great job as Bane disliked that the ending kinda shuffled him out of the forefront.
Talia was predictable from the moment she came on screen.
Catwoman I hated because she never got naked, but I enjoyed the portrayal of the character.
JGL did a great job, kept hoping to see him suit up at the end when he goes to the cave.
Little displeased that they ended it with him going to Italy and he and alfred never talked. Plus who isn't going to recognize him?
Overall was really pleased with it, though I will be left to wonder how much more awesome it could have been with the Joker being in it.

Went at 2pm this afternoon and the theater was packed.
