I liked the storyline of Bane/Ghul's daughter a lot.

I hated the rest of the movie. The way Bane and mini-Ghul died were fucking horrible. The audience in my theater actually started laughing at Ghul's death.

The romance side of it was completely unbelievable and horrendously written.

Other than the initial Bane/Bat fight where the Bat got owned, the rest of the action scenes sucked.

You could tell about 30-40 minutes too early and easily that Ghul was a bad guy. I mean, when Bane saved her from the trials of death/exile, if you didn't pick up on it by then you are just ignorant.

As for the very end, people won't notice Bruce Wayne in broad daylight??? Um, hello???

It doesn't hold a candle to Avengers.

Hardy's Bane voice just kind of soured it for me. Bane has been and always should be Mexican, he didnt even have the slightest hint of an accent other than auto-tune.

The Retcon of Bane's Origin for Talia, well played Nolan i wasn't expecting that.

The Chant was slightly over used.

JGL's character was good, but he honestly didn't show himself to be worthy enough of taking up the mantle of gotham's protector, yes he figured out that Bruce was the Bat but beyond that he killed 2 men. I was expecting to see a Robin suit waiting for him in the Batcave.

Hathaway, just wow and a very accurate catwoman.

originally batman was supposed to die, and the studio told nolan to change it, how the fuck is nolan not going to tell the studio to fuck off when hes guaranteed hundreds of millions in profit from this movie.
I feel like nolan's best work has been memento and its been a downward slide since....

Hahaha, when I first heard Bane's voice I thought "They did that just to make Bale's Batman not sound so weird."

I greatly enjoyed the movie, loved how closely they followed canon on things and all the tie-ins (Robin, Catwoman's accuracy including the sister, Bane and his backstory, Ra's Al Ghul's daughter and I even thought it was funny that they said Bane's father was an "english businessman" of Ra's Al Ghul...because of Liam Neeson, lulz). Though it does break Bane's backstory with the change at the end of Bane always being Talia's protector and not being the child born in the prison, so that is kind of lame. I didn't like how she died either. And the police chief dude who was a pussy and then came out? Seemed mostly useless since he just died like a bitch.

My only problem(s) with Robin is that he has NO background in anything but being a police officer, is that canon for Robin? Ok, looked it up and I guess the first two Robin's were acrobats but the 3rd was more of a super sleuth. And then my other problem is what training/initiating is being done for Robin? Did Batman leave a video manual for everything? Is Alfred going to show him around?

As well, what happened with the money? Was it returned when Bane/Talia were defeated somehow?

As to the Robin thing: I think it's assumed he left some sort of instruction, seeing as the bag contained everything he needed to find the cave and was basically teaching him through the entire movie about being batman (the chat in the patrol car, ect).

- The raspyness in Bane's voice wasn't my issue with it... My issue with it is that it always came out of the left speaker and felt like it was played over everything else.
- Anne Hathaway did an amazing job as Catwoman. Also, every time she got on that batpod... "DAT ASS"
- Shed a tear for Michael Cain's scene at the funeral. Was so well acted.
- I saw the Robin thing coming from the moment he set foot in Wayne's house telling him that he knows what he did. Was convinced when he threw away his badge and then it happened.
- TDK is still a better movie.
- BB was the perfect origin story for a comic book hero.
- I found it funny that Talia died the same way as her father. Almost... One was in a train and the other in a truck.
- Fuck yeah, auto-pilot.

Yes to both of those. Anne was hot, but Marion is just fucking beautiful. And that accent, just mmmm. My only real complaint was how they changed Bane's voice. He sounded more intimidating in the original prologue. Granted, you couldn't tell what he was saying. Overall, amazing movie that just concluded the series so well.

Hope I wasn't the only one that got all giddy when Bane said he would break him, then moments later, breaking his back. I've waited years since Bane's announcement for that one scene. Is that bad?

Definitely one of the best moments of the movie. I had to keep myself from squealing like a fangirl.

That fight was my favorite one.

And yeah, thirded/fourthed @ the manly tears for the Alfred scene.

I went with a group that had a few girls, who don't really know a single thing about Bane and how brutal he is to Bats. After the scene was over I glanced at them and a few of them had their jaws dropped and I was definitely giddy over it. They were completely stunned that he destroyed Batman lol.

Robin's backstory is a combination of Grayson and Drake. Also, Tim Drake finding out that Batman was Bruce Wayne was one of the reasons he got to be Robin.

When Fox gave him the Bat he told Bruce the autopilot was the only thing he could never get working and that it would take a better mind than his to fix it basically telling Bruce that he would have to fix it himself. Bruce let Fox think it was never fixed but he actually did fix it which Fox finds out in that scene thanks to the techs which is basically telling him that Bruce isn't really dead.

For a split second I thought it would be an Inception style ending where Alfred looks across the table, pauses for a second, then *credits* without showing if he was there or not.

See that would have been a decent ending. Ish. Wouldn't have saved the movie but it would have been better.
