    Bane's voice was so unrealistic..

In the plane with the door open everything's find and normal until bane starts to talk and it's like time stops so that he can be heard. Throughout the movie it was too obvious his voice was played over everything else

I knew those motherfucking clappers complaining about bane's voice in the prologue would ruin my movie!!

Still though, I enjoyed it. Not as much as I thought I would have but meh, it was a very good film nonetheless. The only tear that was shed was at the end when the theater clapped.

I think they increased the violence of the fight from the book. I was pleasantly surprised with the addition of him being punched in the head until his mask shattered.

I need to find the original trailer to compare the bane voices

Ya I rewatched the old trailer, and it sounded better the original way.

Ok saw it this morning after being relatively sheltered against spoilers. I knew that Talia was in it didn't know who was playing her, so about 30 minutes in it clicked for me who she had to be. Yes it made the link between her and Bane dayglo pink starting the moment Bane took over the city, but it wasn't a bad link. Just convenient.

I agree with what someone said earlier in regarding the first hour being nothing but exposition. Begins tied up its ending with Batman a hero. TDK ended with serious repercussions for everyone involved and Batman a villain.

    Gripes:
Bane's voice was unexpected. I didn't mind it, because the only other Bane's (cartoon, lol B&R) I can compare with sounded like someone high on meth getting fucked in the ass. Whoever mixed his audio needs a good smack. His face though....Bane had 2emotions, ...... and I'M ANGRY WITH YOU when it came to his face.

The whole scene at the beginning, while amazing cinematography was convoluted as a mother fucker. If they had the resources to do all that, why didn't they just take out the militia men who brought the Dr to the CIA and let the Fed's find a body they rigged to look like the Dr? Was "Hey lets carjack a plane with another plane really the better plan?

The constant skyline/city switching between NY, LA, Philly and London made my head hurt a few times.

12 million people need a lot more resources than that Island had for that period of time.

Commissioner Gordon dropping the jamming device as a way of adding tension brought me out of the scene., The moment he did it I just went "Really? did they have to add suspense by making him drop it and getting 'lucky' that it didn't fall off the truck?". I then had the realization that it was a plot device to allow Talia a Villain Monologue but without it being as obvious. That one's just my preference.

The timer on the bomb.....UGH. I hate timers in movies/TV. They always bring out a logical error if you compare them to who long actions take on screen. And IMO, this was the biggest logic error in the entire movie. The timer that they wouldn't stop focusing on "for suspense" ** it showed 1:12 on the timer as Batman/The Bat flew it away from the city. They explained the bomb had an effective blast radius of 6 miles. Assuming that they were right next to the ocean (Manhattan isn't) this would mean to fly a safe distance (Lets say 7 miles) to avoid the blast, the Bat would need a top speed of 350 miles per hour.
**(Spoiler: We know you're not going to end the trilogy with the murder of 12 million people, credits. Probably why I snapped out of it a bit when Gordon dropped the thingamajigger.)

This brings in another error - it showed the Bat flying away from the UN building towards Roosevelt Island. Go look up Google maps - the plane left the lower east side flying NE, where the plane would have had to travel a further distance to avoid casualties than if it had gone SE into open waters. Since either bay is roughly 7+ miles away from where the plane left, it would have to be flying @ greater than the speed of sound to reach a safe distance within the allotted time.

That's ignoring the fallout from the blast so close to the city, or the heat. So yeah, don't show timers in movies. Just say "within the hour".

I would also LOVE to see the trilogy@IMAX purely for TDK now. Too bad there isn't an IMAX showing it within 250 miles according to fandango

Consider yourselves lucky if you have.

Oh and that bomb blowing up Gotham would have been Titanic epic. We need some alternate endings too in the director's cut.

    Spoiler: show
I think a wrath of khan style sacrifice with him reattaching it to the reactor but being exposed to too much radiation/whatever would have worked a lot better as far as the noble sacrifice type ending. don't know how they would do the fakeout though, leadlined batsuit maybe? not sure. But the decision to detonate a nuke was a very poor one, imo.

The nuke would have been entirely OK without the timer. Once they established the yield, location and time allotted though I couldn't turn off my brain and ignore the reality of the situation.

I thought it was really well done, went back and watched the first trailer though and Bane's voice sounded so much better then. I don't know if it was because of the IMAX but banes voice along with the music at some points seemed so loud I couldn't understand the dialogue. Will go see it again a few more times I'm sure.

It wierds me out a little bit when things can be explained so simply.

    DNA.

    Gotham City right?

    I think it's Gotham right?

Gotham or not, you'd have to get 30+ miles away from the city to avoid damage with a 14 Megaton nuke. 30 miles in a minute is Mach 3.

only a handful of people know basic math, or that a nuke should be detonated miles away at a minimum? c'mon son.

Is it so far fetched to believe? You see the size of the mushroom cloud when it blows, it was tiny as fuck; the bomb was far as fuck when it blew. You're never shown how fast the bat can fly since its in an urban environment the whole time; for all you know it has afterburners that can break mach 3.

Suspension of disbelief people, this isn't that big a deal. There's bigger and better things to complain about, which I won't bring up cause some of you people are just too damn much.

The average person isn't going in to see "batman" trying to do scientific calculations to see if it could be accomplished "realistically"

except Nolanverse is known for being a (relatively) grounded realistic universe. "suspension of disbelief" doesn't excuse shitty filmmaking decisions.

The whole nuclear weapon thing is overdone and it's even worse when the Avengers used the same plot device towards the end of their flick.

"only a handful" of people have access to google? Because that's where I got all my numbers.

Arguing that one should turn their brain off during a movie is like saying you shouldn't read a book to think about it. The reason the bomb irked me so much was because they made a big freaking deal out of the time left. Seriously, with the camera went back to that timer 20 freaking times I was already prepared to call shenanigans once it was down to 5 minutes and they still expected to be able to get it into the reactor.

I was just posting my gripes, the movie was very far from bad. Batman and Robin just came on TV. Schuemakers movies make Nolan's look like fucking Shakespeare.

I just think they could have used maybe a week with a couple people with a script and storyboards to make sure that they didn't have a DBZ moment like they did. Given the quality of The Dark Knight, I don't think that's so much to ask.

Fast enough to outrun heat-seeking missiles, which had me rolling my eyes also.
