Should be complaining about how bruce got back into gothem after escaping the prison instead of a tiny fusion reactor we know is the first of its kind + it being in a comic book world where batman exists.

Bolded for ya, different strokes, different folks. Glad to know you don't like to pay attention to the details, I do. First 2 movies had some flaws but like I've said, nothing that the acting/cinematography couldn't help me ignore. This one was slow, plodding and had some camera direction that makes me question who the fuck was paying attention. And then at the very end during the climax, they did something that couldn't have happened given the parameters that they gave. It was better than most movies, but it doesn't live up to what it follows for me. Few third films in a Trilogy ever do.

The point I really started paying attention to what was going on was when Bane knew about the Armory under Wayne enterprises. How would he know if Fox had not told anyone? I was waiting for something epic to start and instead I got a stylized retelling of the French Revolution set in modern day new york with batman. Which is still kinda cool. But I was hoping for something better.

Or how Batman gets his back broken by Bane and suddenly gets back into fighting shape after a training montage. Wayne should have been in a wheelchair for life after that shit.

Guy in the prison said the disc was bulged, not borken and punched it back into place. I hand waived it with "He's the god damn batman" when it happened, because it would have hurt like hell but they didn't show him instantly getting on his feet either.

Looking it up hey, a bulging disc in your back can repair itself if its not severe.

He's batman why would it be difficult for him to get back in?

I saw a bit of the trailer and other scenes I've seen cut from the movie.

What first made me look for it all was the football scene where the guy drops the football after turning to see the destruction. He never drops the football, it cut to the next scene immediately and during the commercials I never liked that scene because it looked like the guy tossing the football wasn't doing it at the right time and made the scene look fake

The training montage I think also used different scenes... in the movie he's doing pushups from a different angle and different lighting than the trailer? I'm not too sure about that. Also, in the prologue weren't bat's ears broken during the fight? I noticed the water reflections made it look that way during that scene but they weren't broken during the brawl

Well.. because both bane people were watching movement and the outside military was to make sure nobody leaves/goes in or else the nook would go off

You mean like Joker's plan was physically impossible to even conceive? Or the microburst emitter? or a thousand other things you can delve into just like how you're tearing apart this bomb thing?

Just saw it too... they should've just renamed the movie--

    Spoiler: show

The Tim Drake-- err, Blake Rises, featuring Batman and Catwoman.

I don't get why they didn't just call him Tim Drake :/ I mean, there were enough similarities between the two characters that it could've just been him.

living in NYC, I just couldn't suspend the disbelief that it was "Gotham". They could've at least added a little more CGI to make it not look like Manhattan.

Also was Catwoman's friend supposed to be a cameo for Spoiler or something? She was literally in it just for like 3 scenes and that's all.

Great acting from Catwoman, Gordon and Alfred but omg everytime Batman/Bane spoke it still sounded so silly. I felt like because it was so "realistic" this time around, Batman just showing up in his costume looked absolutely ridiculous at some scenes, maybe cause they kept filming him in broad daylight.

Felt like they really could've cut a few characters to make the story stronger. there really didn't have to be so many subplots (Like the second commissioner)... oh well, at least it was still a bit entertaining.

    Spoiler: show

A friend and I were talking about it, and how is Gotham ever going to come back from this..?

I mean, in the comics, after No Man's Land, the only thing that saved Gotham was that Luthor poured millions (probably billions) into Gotham to get it fixed up and then Batman essentially pulled the rug out from under him. With DKR, not only is Gotham screwed, but it's worse off since the haves were essentially wiped out by the have-nots. If I were a business person, there's not way in hell I'm bringing my business interests back to Gotham given their track record..

And, I think that issue illustrates one of the big problems with DKR over DK. In DK, Batman's point to Joker was that Gotham wasn't as insane as him and was still full of good people. We get the end of the movie and start of this new one where supposedly all the problems with crime have been fixed, Gotham is doing great, etc. Then Bane comes back, and with very little prodding, is able to unleash this class war. (Was anyone else really bothered by how easily Bane was able to do that? It honestly reminded me of Begins where Rachel talks about how some people act like the recession is over, but the people who don't have are still struggling..) I think the movie would have been a lot better if the people of Gotham had risen up and taken the fight against Bane's mercs. While it was good that the police were involved in the fight, what about the rest of Gotham? The city is still screwed up, and even if we move past the bomb, I can't imagine any scenario where it is fixed..

    Spoiler: show

did they show a cause for bruce waynes death and i missed it? it was funeral, then will, and then his house is an orphanage but i dont remember seeing a cause of death released to public to cover up the fact that he happened to die at the same time as batman. this of course happening after he made his first appearance in 8 years at the same time as batman

Same lol. Being from New York I just couldn't get beyond that. I busted out laughing towards the end because I thought Batman was going to drop the bomb off at Jersey and call it a day.

They didn't. Thats why the funeral had only 4 people there. I assumed they just kept it hush hush about the circumstances of his death and didn't really bother clarifying. People might put it together, or they might not.
