- I felt really bad for Commissioner Gordon. Everyone gets a happy ending, to a certain extent, except him. Would have been nice to see his family come back at the end. And who the fuck leaves Gotham to go to Cleveland?
- I don't see why people are calling Bane a henchman. Just because there's the big reveal with Talia at the end doesn't mean she masterminded the whole thing. It always seemed like Bane's movie to me, it's just by the end we know he's doing it for Talia because she wants to fulfill he father's plot, and he shares her ideals and wants her to be happy. Also, the bit about Bane being excommunicated from the League of Shadows was just the best info Alfred could find, it wasn't stated as an absolute fact.
- Definitely said, "OH SHIT" out loud when he broke the Bat's back. Loved that part.
- Based on reviews, I was told it was too boring and too serious. I didn't think so at all, there were quite a few moments of good comedy sprinkled throughout.
- I thought the romantic side story was half-assed, but Bruce's emotions sort of back that up. Given the context of Alfred telling him about Rachel's letter, he's so emotionally spent. So this hot ass woman with a French accent keeps showing up at his door and coming on to you, why wouldn't you throw it in her? Never felt like they were "in love," which was a good thing, and aside from the whole laying-together-in-a-blanket-by-the-fire cliche' I thought it was fine.
- Foley (the Matthew Modine character) was completely pointless, no idea what he was supposed to add. I guess it's just so a high ranking cop gets killed and isn't Gordon or Blake?
- Selina Kyle was pitch-perfect, loved every minute she was on screen.
- God DAMN does Marion Cotillard have some big tits. Like Christina Hendricks big. How has she been keeping those puppies under wraps? (Or maybe I need to see more of her than just Inception?)
- Definitely teared up after Alfred's bit at the funeral. So good.
- Fucking loved how Crane came back as the judge, so unexpected.
- Also, I get that most people here probably read the comic books. That's fine. But just as a movie-goer, a lot of the twists and turns were done pretty well. I hate how people are ranting on about everything being SO OBVIOUS when you've read the source material. You fuckers better stay away from The Hobbit or I might have to choke a bitch.
- I'm also getting the vibe that people who prefer The Avengers are the hardcore comic book fans. That's also fine. What I like about the Nolanverse is the lack of comic book antics (although the timer on the bomb was pretty ridiculous) so I'm getting tired of people saying TDKR is shit and The Avengers is so much better. It's different. Different != worse. (Oh who am I kidding, this is the internet, after all...)
