What was the point of taking Bruce Wayne's fingerprints at the beginning? Felt like that whole bit got tossed completely to the side unless I missed it.

Saw it and while I was watching it I thought it was a great movie. There were more things I was nit picking about it after, but while I was watching it, only a few things were noticeably bad;

Great movie, loved every second of it and i'm not a super die-hard Batman fanboy. Wish Bane had clearer dialogue though. Just did an internet search for Tom Hardy, dude has a done a lot of movies with Gary Oldman.

You need to rewatch the movie. They needed a trader's security badge to get into the system to upload the program to do the trades.

Him getting back into Gotham was the smallest plot hole ever if you're familiar with Batman. He has caches set up all over the world just like Bond. Not only that he's still a freaking Ninja.

Even before that he managed to get to Asia without a dime, so it's would seem possible based on that he could get back from the prison. If it were Pena Dura it was in the Carribean, but in the movie I'm guessing it might have been Morocco since the prisoners spoke Moroccan Arabic(based on what I've read).

As far as the story itself is concerned, I'm not sure where the prison was set to be on the planet. But it was shot in India just outside the Blue City.

Saw the movie today and absolutely loved it.

The concerns brought up here blow my mind. I mean, if you are going to complain about something, complain about the fact that Batman seemed to drag god knows how many barrels of gas around the city and spend time graffiting a building with his logo. All on the off chance that somebody will just so happen to walk to that part of the ice so they can light it up. Meanwhile there is a nuke about to go off in less then a day and time is critical.

I think my biggest beef was the execution of Bane and Talia's characters.

Talia's last-minute reveal seemed tacked-on, and, I felt, stole some importance from Bane's threat. It would be the second time in motion pictures that Bane had taken passenger seat to another character (and completely coincidentally perhaps, accomplice to yet another woman).

In both the comics and the films, I felt that Bane was never really given the status his character deserves. He and Joker are both foils to Batman in their way: Joker the entropy to Batman's order, and Bane as essentially Batman from the wrong side of the tracks--instead of growing up in privilege and love, he grew in poverty and cruelty. Instead of having his world torn tragically from him, he didn't have anything to begin with. Instead of having near-unlimited resources to call on, he had to form his power base from scraps. But, like Batman, he did have a caretaker, a mentor of sorts. Bane is self-made, intelligent, and iron-willed... and unfortunately, after Knightfall, relegated to roles like Ra's henchman or Suicide Squad member.

There are two things I'd like to see one day in a Batman film: one being something that truly gives Bane the spotlight, and the other being a film dedicated to Bill Finger in big, huge, bold letters.

If you know they only take your thumb print, you only look at things that need your thumb (presumably a smaller list) than things that may need all of your fingers or some combination there of.
