that was an amazing scene. "They will expect one of us brother!"
dude just nodded and smiled.
It took me watching the Prologue so many times and the movie twice to finally realize the guy in the opening scene was Littlefinger from Game of thrones. /mindblown
Never watched that show, so hes Littlefinger for me.
Couldn't have said it betterI loved this movie, and fuck the haters.
Spoiler: show
Biggest plot hole was clearly assuming that Hines Ward could return anything for a touchdown.
Also, loved it. Not the greatest movie ever or anything, but exactly what I wanted/expected.
Well it did make a lot of money but he has said this is his last movie. It's also almost 100% Christian Bale won't be back. Lastly WB wants a JLA movie in 2014 and the Dark Knight just doesn't fit well with that world. So I don't know I definitely wouldn't necessarily hold my breath for another Nolan Batman movie.I love Nolan's cock-tease with this being the last "batman" movie
Tell your friend to get working on that shit, and hovercars. What the fuck is science doing nowadays that we don't have Jetson cars.
Not sure how a Justice League movie will work, honestly I like Batman from DC over all other superheros but other then the Batman story and villains the rest of the DC universe can blow me.
Nolan said he won't make another Batman. He's done with that character.
I think that if they do intend on having a JLA movie, they need to A) Reboot Batman with a new actor and a quasi-origin tale (establish the new batman actor, but not necessarily tell the origin tale)
B) make Man of Steel the starting point to the JLA/DC universe. Nolan + Stylized director = win for the DC universe. Nolan knows how to establish and maintain a character. All of his movies are character driven rather than plot driven. Fuck Face Zach Synder knows exactly how to maintain plot and style (see watchmen). I honestly think that the reboot of Batman will be soon and it will be extremely bad, like a clusterfuck (but absolutely important to JLA).
At this point in time, Batman in the Nolanverse is not only done, but its unique and will never be recreated. Batman will undergo a typical change of actor, director, and producer to accommodate the style DC wants to go with for their JLA series. I will never think less of this series, despite its plot holes in every movie. However, I'm more excited for Man of Steel than DKR. Because I strongly believe in the standard Nolan has set for Batman. And I believe that if anyone agrees to try to reboot the Batman series, they have to OK it with Zach Synder (sadly).
Joss Whedon will forever be Marvel's Avengers director. I think Zach Synder will be DC's.
Also, reboot the watchmen.
No. The movie was a solid effort, but fucked up in regards to a lot of the characterization/motivations portrayed. Knowing how much worse it could have been is the only reason I don't hate it.
Having said that, I think so I wont rage like I did during the first the first watch through, I'm going to watch Batman and Robin before going back. Give subconscious some perspective on what it's bitching about.
OH THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN NEATO

Saw that on reddit the other day, meant to post it, but i was too lazy
Nah man. If Ledger hadn't died, he would've probably had a huge role in the movie and we would've gotten a completely different end product. I'm glad Nolan left Joker alone, given the circumstances.
While I completely agree, I find it jarring that they never even mentioned the Joker, at all. Harvey Dent this and that. But not one peep about the Joker. Unless I missed it.
