I know right? I was filling it out and decided I better not put something I can't do in case they want it. I figure being an extra will be along the lines of a group of hostages or people fleeing in terror from villain hijinks.

Bane was a prisoner convicted to a life in prison because his father tried to revolt against some Latin American country and died so they couldn't sentence him to life. He lived his life in there, becoming the toughest prisoner and what not. I forget which of the next two parts came first, but he heard about Batman and how tough he was and decided he wanted to prove he was tougher than him. Around the same time, the people who were making venom were looking for subjects and came to his prison and so Bane became one of their subjects. He ended up escaping the prison with 3 sidekicks and then set in motion a plan that pit Batman against a number of his villains and left him exhausted. He was able to figure out that Bruce Wayne was Batman just by watching him and then broke into the Batcave when he was completely drained and broke his back. This set in motion one of the worst (imo) sequences in Batman, but he definitely had a major role in shaping Batman's later decisions, planning, etc. After that he returned a few times to fight Batman (sometimes as a lackey), but his first appearance was his most significant.

Christopher Nolan’s final act in the Batman trilogy has added “Full Metal Jacket” actor Matthew Modine (left), who played Pvt. Joker in Stanley Kubrick’s 1987 Vietnam War pic. He’ll be playing a character named “Nixon” in the superhero sequel, though further details weren’t available. Additionally, Tom Conti (right) and 11-year-old thesp Joey King (inset) have joined the ensemble, though in keeping with the Nolan tradition, details of their roles are being kept firmly under wraps.

Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises cast has gained Brett Cullen and Chris Ellis. Cullen will play a judge and Ellis is set to play a priest, according to Variety. Cullen has appeared in Apollo 13 and in Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze's (Nicolas Cage) father Barton Blaze. Ellis also starred in Apollo 13 and has had character roles in such films as, Transformers, Armageddon and Catch Me If You Can.

Being a huge Batman fan and with principal photography for Chris Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises kicking off in London this week it would be professionally negligent if I didn’t bring you some offerings from the great city of London.

So you have seen the Gotham Police Department vehicles and the S.W.A.T team van outside the Farmiloe Building in Clerkenwell, London. Which doubles for the Gotham Police Department interior in Nolan’s films. Other scenes are also shot in the building itself and it has a large basement where I presume the cars and SWAT van where used. The basment was also used as the meat locker in Sherlock Holmes. On a related note there is an image floating around the net of the interior of the building – some shoes hanging down, this is an old image and was not taken during The Dark Knight Rises shoot.

Anyway here is a first look at some of the Gotham Police and S.W.A.T team moving between locations during the shoots of The Dark Knight Rises in London yesterday. Shooting wrapped at the Farmiloe Building yesterday.

I don't think its worth it for a chance to be in the movie.
