It was Hines Ward practically playing himself, as opposed to Christian Bale playing a guy trained by ninjas and practically limitless wealth at his disposal. When there's a Hines Ward getting trained by ninjas montage on the DVD I will refute my point.

He was playing a Gotham Rogues player. Is that a real team? I don't think so. Neither is the player he was portraying. There was just no point in changing his name.

Gotham's quidditch team wasn't up to snuff.

Late to the show, just saw it a few hours ago. Will repeat some stuff already said:

    - I too thought that Bane's voice at the beginning was a weird Sean Connery accent. Did Tom Hardy actually redub his voice in that accent or was it another actor?

    - I would have prefered if Batman had died at the end. After making me cry during his funeral (damn you Sir Michael Caine! /shakes fist) I wanted him to stay dead.

    - As an offshoot from that I would have liked Alfred's smile to have been the last thing we saw, I dunno, just felt better than actually seeing Bruce and Selina.

    - Not a comic book reader so had no idea the french chick would be Ra's daughter, though I do wonder what the scar meant when they showed it.

    - Those police officers stuck underground for 6 months had uniforms in pretty good nick when they emerged, unless they all went home to have a shave first and change into a spare.

    - Hans Zimmer's music grew on me. I wasn't keen after listening to it beforehand, but when the Batman riff started up, I loved it.

    - I can't remember what happened to the Scarecrow in the first film, so I was half convinced that Cillian wasn't actually playing the Scarecrow when he first turned up, he seemed too sane?

    - How did they get those motorbikes into the stock exchange? Were they already there or something?

    - last thing, that kid singing the anthem in the stadium - HATED it with a vengeance.

If you remember back to Batman Begins when Bruce was being initiated into the LoS he was about to receive the same branding.

I noticed the scar and my initial reaction was that she worked for Bane/LoS... However, when she got kidnapped my opinion changed and then like 5 minutes later she's revealed. Damn movie.

I was joking but it'd be pretty awesome if this is what happened

Most of people's issues are elementary things that I think should have been caught and would have easy "fixes" and while nothing is terribly bad they're all worthy of discussion and a professional wouldn't let stuff like that by. I keep thinking about the bane death, talia reveal, and subsequent talia death and the entire happy-go-lucky ending and it doesn't feel like the rest of the movie. It's like he was finished the majority of the movie and then was forced to add all of this other stuff and went on a psychotic break fucking the movie in every hole it had until it was a miserable pile of blood and semen. You guys wanted the joker? There he is

And while I'm posting, when watching again the knee brace scene stuck out to me since it was never mentioned again.. Which is weird to me since most good directors don't add stuff into their movie if it serves little purpose or is just a bridge between one scene to the next, it's just there for the sake of forcing the movie forward. I dunno, I just expected the knee brace and super leg to be used/mentioned later on in the movie and then I forgot all about it because it was pretty damn immersive despite my jokings above

Just saw it. My only gripe was with how Bane died.
I didnt see an issue with the ending.

He wasn't really caught in the first movie, Batman doesn't get him arrested until the beginning of TDK when the copycats show up. Then Bane released everyone from jail. And you don't need to be sane to do what he was doing in this movie lol, although part of me expected him to wear the mask.

To me it really felt like this was a prison scene that got deleted. Everything in that block of Bruce in Prison + Siege of Gotham felt really clunky and that they cut a lot of simple explanation scenes. I really would like to see a Director's Cut, because even including scene that showed the guy trying to take over Wayne Enterprises posted on the last page would have made the movie flow a lot better. Even better would have been more explanation of how Bruce recovered in the Prison (magical punch to the vertabrae hooah!) or Gordon's operations in Gotham under Siege, scenes that I'm pretty sure were left on the editing room floor.

Seen it, loved it. Talia caught me offguard. Though by that point I was wondering what he would face since Bane was done for.

Can't believe so many people were caught off guard by talia, that thing was obvious to me and I have never read the comics. Like some one said earlier, the movie has its issues and was really predictable, but the ride to get to the ending was still fun regardless.

I was not surprised to see Talia, but Bane is purpousely portrayed as the puppetmaster with all the answers. And then Talia comes into the picture when you least expect it. In other words the deception is well done.

In batman begins you can see it coming with Ra's. With Talia is not that evident.

I wouldn't even call it well done. Its entertaining, but not well done.

I'm with Tajin. I was expecting Talia to be Bane's lackey most of the movie. What actually happened was pretty out of left field... Probably because I didn't expect the only person to get out of that pit to be a little girl. Little boy escaping who becomes this massive badass seemed par the course.

Ra's was obvious. I still liked BB though.

Commissioner Gordon calls him Crane, so it's definitely him.
