I regret ever pickin up smoking. Still can't quit that shit, and I already feel the effects of it.

Starting smoking is by far the worst decision I ever made, also.

I tried for years to quit using gum, patch, snus, will power (lol, I have none), etc. I started using e-cigarettes last year. I know some people will say that it is still smoking, but it helped me cut down at first and then quit cigarettes. I've gone 78 days now without a cigarette and I feel so much better.

I sometimes regret that I was too afraid/ashamed to be honest about the things I enjoyed/did. But then again, I wouldn't be so sure of myself now, if it wasn't for that period of uncertainty.

Long time I felt that I didn't party enough in high school, but it was because I perceived parties as something way cooler than they are; I can equally enjoy a quiet evening with a friend or two, but at the time I wanted myself to be mainstream, and thus like crowded parties. Which I still don't, by the way.

Regret is just a way of telling yourself you're not happy with something in your current life, so you blame your past decisions. Accept who you are, and you'll accept your past. While I know this is easier for me than others (because I haven't done ultrastupid shit like murder someone or start smoking, things you still feel today), eventually this becomes truth.
