Some of the crazier shit I did that I can't mention even online due to possible legal repurcussions.
White girls![]()
Mainstream music. Falling into the emo fad, fucking fat chicks...Wait I still do that :\ Watching toonami on cartoon network and telling my friends I'm into anime.
I used to swim competitively for my city, run athletics and cross country. I stopped swimming/running to have time to study, and I stopped studying to have time to play FFXI.
I don't regret playing FFXI, but I do regret not keeping up the sports I was good at.
People saying FFXI: you actually thought it was "cool"?
Anyway...

Talking about bestiality porn I found on morpheus/kazaa in public
Those who regret anime, what the hell did you watch? Lucky Star? There's nothing to regret about watching Naruto, Bleach and whatever when you were like 14-15. If it was some school comedy shit though.. yeah.
I regret even trying to paint/draw/write as a teen and thinking I was even somewhat decent at it. At least I didn't go around bragging about it to add to the humiliation.
But hey, at least I got myself a cool avatar from those days.
I regret being a whiny little bitch. I also used to listen to god awful music.
I was never cool as a teenager and accepted the fact I was not cool then.
This was actually my earlier teenage years (12,13,14) but I really regret being so uncomfortable with myself and my total uncoolness/awkwardness that I was so desperate to fit in with my grade school class. I went to a small catholic school where we had only about 20 students per grade, and rather than feel comfortable enough to be friends with people of other grades who I actually liked, I desperately tried to be "cool" and fit in with the people my own age. There was some stigma about not having friends your own age.
I still remember those awkward lunch breaks and field trips trying to keep up with their talk about shows like Beverly Hills 90210 which I not only didn't watch very often, but barely understood, the new music that I really just didn't know, and basically just trying so hard to feel like I was a part of something. Killer is that there were some girls the grade below me that were much more similar to me that I should have hung out with, "coolness" be damned, because they were actually nice to me. By the time I was in 8th grade I'd figured this out, but I really regret not having the balls to step outside the boundaries of grade lines and just be friends with these people.
On the contrary, though, I am still very proud of myself for not giving in to peer pressure and continuing to dance even though I was made fun of mercilessly for it. I loved to dance and no matter how much flak I took for it I refused to quit. I'm super proud of my younger self for that.
Blaehgeh lol this turned out to be longer than expected, but that's my main regret. Not realizing that by acting desperate and clingy because I thought I had to be friends with my own grade I was actually making myself look more like a loser than if I'd just been friends with the younger girls.
TL;DR: Believing that I couldn't be cool if I wasn't friends with kids my own age, no matter how much I didn't actually get along with them.
Remember Alf? He's back
Spoiler: show
Also, I regret not playing pokemon, because now I feel like I'm missing out on epic nostalgia every time it comes up.
wearing black shirts 90% of the time (pre-goth trend, just like black at the time)
Wearing the mortal kombat t-shirt you got free when you pre-ordered MK1 for snes/genesis from EB like it was hot shit to school
Magic: the Gathering... played that shit during revised/4th edition son
wearing glasses instead of contacts, because i actually listened to my mom when she said they made me look really smart, and girls like smart boys... THANKS MOM!!!!
I was wondering if anyone else was going to say something like this. I was embarrassed about not liking/doing the same shit everyone else did in high school. I listened to rock and electronic/dance music, everyone else listened to rap or pop...everyone else went out partying and boozing on the weekends, I either went bowling or played cards/video games with my friends. The list went on forever, but being embarrassed about that was stupid and probably was a big reason I was so shy back in the day. Dumb shit, it would be nice to go back knowing what I know now, but such is life.
Whether any of that was 'cool' or not, getting tied up in labels like that isn't really something I've ever done, so it is what it is.
I regret going to youth group... I went because I liked one of the girls there. But still kinda got into it. Fucking waste'o'time on both.

Being a stuck up bitch.
Laughing at the poor guy on a bike that hit a street lamp after staring at me wearing a pink short silk night gown instead of a summer dress.
Wearing that said night gown, and some other of my more extravagant outfits.
Falling for "cool" guys.
I have far to many things to list so ill just say 80% of everything.
