Distributor represents your company and your product, best make damn sure it's done right. Obviously that wasn't the case here. One of the bigger hyped games of the summer and someone screws up. Not a good sign.

But that's another story than "releasing an untested game"

It's true what you said, but the "real" game is hopefully better. They made a major screw-up, sadly, but I hope the whole situation will get remedied in 2 days, because, just like you mentioned, it was a pretty hyped title.

It's entertaining. But I'm going to lump it into the same category as Homefront for the time being. Massively hyped decent game that didn't deliver as much as everyone was expecting. I'll completely reserve judgment until I've played through it to the end. But right now it's a prettier melee version of Left for Dead with RPG elements.

Maybe because I never played Left 4 Dead or Fallout to any large extent, but watching people play this on streams makes me want it sooo bad. But I'm gonna wait.

Hmm, I did run it to some bugs today. The first one is my inability to pick any guns up at all. I've picked up two Revolvers, and the only things I got were bullets. Is there a way to equip it other than through the inventory? Because I can't find it in my inventory.

The second one is that sometimes quests randomly disappear out of my quest log. "Nighthawk", for example. I picked it up from the girl, together with a bunch of other quests. During one of the quests I died, and Nighthawk disappeared from my quest log. Now I'm unable to grab it again.

Nighthawk quest bug happened to me as well. I wonder if I'm still able to complete the quest (like, it's still active) even though it's not visible in the quest log.

Sucky part is that you can't manually save (which sucks... Does it save automatically when choosing "quit game?"), you're basically fucked if it happens on a main quest. It's still sad if it happens on a side quest, but it's not quite as bad.

At first I thought driving was horrid as well, but it took me time to learn that the controls aren't normal. Just use the arrows or stick depending on what you are using and dont move the camera, the game moves with you.

And I loaded the game up today and it reverted me back to a save spot where I have to go and redo a shit load of quests. Fuck this game. I'm done.

Thankfully that only happened to me after the first big patch, and now my MP works and the DLC bug is gone so it looks like they've now smoothed everything over.

Played MP a bit with a friend today, went smooth for the most part besides two bugs. Explosion of a propane tank went off and then suddenly no more sound for me, friend had no issue. And I got into a truck and tried to respond to a joke a friend typed and kb no longer worked in game, had to restart the game for both to fix things. I must say though, I've never seen a game with so many damn quests in such a small period of time of playing.

Glad I did the "try before you buy" thing on this one. I was hoping for a better L4D but ended up quite disappointed.
