since we know this game is mostly melee weapons i'd like to see less guns used in the trailer unless there actually making this a more gun driven game (yay left 4 dead)

At the Brady Guide book conference this week they told us the book for this is over 300 pages long... Talk about a Holy Shit moment. They said its an unbelievably awesome game and you can clock in 100s of hours. Borderlands meats dead rising and fallout

I could have bought this today. When I was at Microcenter I saw it sitting on the counter behind the register in a case. No clerks around. I will wait for the reviews and torrent first. >_>

Get Dead Island a few days early if you're lucky

While Dead Island is officially set to hit shelves this coming Tuesday, a few naughty retailers have started selling the game early.

Reader Spencer writes to us with photographic evidence of his purchase of Techland's zombie-slaughtering bonanza, having picked it up from a Game Craze location in Victor, New York. We've heard other reports of larger retailers, such as Target and Walmart, having the game on shelves, as well.

I was watching leaked gameplay videos and it looks... really sloppily made. Despite that it looks really fun in terms of gameplay at least. But Jesus the voice acting and characters are just really shitty. Definitely looks like it could have benefited from a little longer development time, but assuming it's as long as they claim it definitely seems to be worth the money still. Then again, I say that and have no intention of buying it until the price drops either, lol.

See graphics have never been an issue for me, and I wasn't really expecting a zombie game to have an epic storyline, so pretty much everything he said is good to me.
