To get the bottom bar back, go to View > Toolbars and select Add-on bar.
It doesn't show page load and stuff any more however. To get that you need to use https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/status-4-evar/
Thanks, your link was borked but I got the status 4 evar bit out of it.

If anyone else is looking for it.
So I'm buying a PSP Go tomorrow from a coworker who is selling it dirt cheap, and I plan to run 6.20 HEN on it to be able to play ISO/CSOs ripped from my UMD game collection.
My question is: if I buy DLC on my 2000 and then transfer it over to the Go, will it work with the ISO/CSO games I've ripped over to it?
Just got a logitech G-510 keyboard as a gift from a friend.
I know stuff like vent and mumble have built in support, but where could I find LCD mods for ffxi and other games?
I recently bought a USB hard drive, stupidly i made myself owner of the drive meaning i can no longer access the drive when i take it to work or plug it into my laptop, anyone know a solution to reset the owner to everyone? running XP btw
Right click the drive, Properties -> Advanced -> Owner tab. You can take ownership of the drive that way at least. Under the Permissions tab you can change what Everyone can do with it. Technically, you don't need to "own" the drive - the owner can simply do whatever it wants to regardless of set permissions. If you can't access it other places, it may be a permissions issue, which should be easier to set.
If you don't have those options, open up My Computer (or another regular Explorer window), Tools -> Folder Options -> View and on the bottom of the list uncheck Use Simple File Sharing.
Are there any slowdowns/bottlenecks involved with running games off an (usb 2.0) external hdd?
:/
Most likely. USB 2.0 has a maximum theoretical throughput of 480 Mb/sec / 60MB/sec. Of course, this is per-controller and is shared between everything connected to it. Most motherboards have multiple controllers for that reason, but still.
In practice, even given the bandwidth of the entire controller (minus the fair chunk of bandwidth dedicated to overhead), most drives won't hit nearly that - likely more around half that, at best.
Contrast that with last-gen IDE having 133 MB/sec, or even first-gen SATA being 150MB/sec, with newer SATA standards allowing for 300MB or now 600MB/sec. For the most part, these interfaces become drive-limited - mechanical HDDs can about manage to squeak over the capabilities of IDE/SATA I, but only barely. Granted, you won't see that constantly...but you're not bottlenecked by the interface.
Long and short is that you'll probably be restricting a HDD to 20-30% of it's actual peak read performance. That said, the end result would be relatively typical for consumer HDD speeds from around a decade ago. So it'd depend partly on what the games are you want to run (though a faster drive would likely be welcome).
If you need to use external, look into eSATA, or even Firewire if available (has much better real world performance).
Since the price drop, I've really thought about getting a psp 3k solely for CFW'ing. See a lot of guides through google, but I'm very particular on the reliability of the sources.
Link to a definitive how-to for getting started and advice for someone who's never done this shit before?
http://www.psp-hacks.com/ forums have the best resources. You'll find everything you need there - apps to create the memory stick, guides on how to make the battery, how to flash the firmware, links to homebrew stuff, etc. I did my slim using guides on there and they were right on.
Not sure if the 3k is any different but the hardest part is the battery... if you make it yourself you have to very gently open up a battery that's not meant to be opened so that you can detach one of the leads on the battery's curcuit board. Alternatively you can buy batteries that perform the same task which will save you a lot of time and frustration. Not sure if the game has changed though since I haven't hacked a psp in a couple years... but if you read up on the forums you should learn everything you need to know.
Fantastic, much appreciated.
So I have this user that have the classic problem of you click a link on google and randomly sends you to another website problem
I passed like 2 times malwarebytes superantispyware and other programs + anti virus scan (Both in Safe mode and normal mode)
Suppressed about 40 spyware but the problem is still there.
User refuse that I format his PC but he wants the problem solved
Any tips?
Should check to see if hes actually getting redirected from actual websites, and isn't constantly trying to goto a phishing one?
check dns entries and make sure there isn't a proxy server running.
Everyone is on the same DNS and there is no proxy in the network
Also it's really random he can exemple click on bell.ca it will go np
If he close IE or firefox and go back it will send him to another site web
and without even closing it could work again
Is there any way to get a decent idea if a cooling system will fit my case before I order it? I want to get a Corsair H70 to go into my Antec 200 but I'm not really sure if it'll fit, and I don't want to find out after I've paid for it.
Using a Dell Gift card roughly 3/4 yrs ago, I bought a Logitech Bluetooth KB + MX1000 mouse. The set comes with a bluetooth adapter for my laptop. I need to replace the mouse, but I want to avoid using two bluetooth adapters. The "obvious" solution seems to be buy the same mouse. However, it costs roughly $100 unless I buy it used. 1) Can I use a different bluetooth mouse and still only use one USB bluetooth adapter? 2) What mouse should I get? Hint: Bulky mouses ftw.
