Does anyone know of a way to force Firefox to install an add-on?

I've followed the stuff outlined here to get it distributed to all users who happen to wander onto a machine, but it just means that when they first start Firefox it prompts them to install the add-ons. This will inevitably mean someone will click "no" and then proceed to go directly to unsafe sites. How can I make it so it automatically installs the add-ons so that end users don't get the opportunity to make mistakes?

I'd get the Curve for the battery life.

Have you looked at the Q10?

@Ratatapa: They're the two available from my carrier that have a physical keyboard.

@Mjd: Q10 is way out of my price range even if T-Mobile had it. =/

How much clearance from a wall does a PC need to properly vent heat?

I'd say at least six inches or so if it is in a corner. Any less and your exhaust will linger too close.

My PC has been standing about a hand wide away from a wall (back side) for over a year, no trouble with air flow. As long as there's nothing above the clearance the hot air can rise and there's no problem.

Quick graphics card Q: currently running a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 1GB GDDR5 DUAL DVI HDMI PCIe Graphics Card in my PC, would a GeForce GT 640 2GB DDR3 PCI-E Video Card be a big/decent upgrade for $100?

Downgrade, sits between a 440 and 450 in performance. GT 640 is pretty shit and for $100 the HD 7770 is much faster however is still a side grade a best, you'll need to save up some more for an upgrade.

Somehow borked my phone and hope I don't need to factory reset it to fix the issue:

So I downloaded WhatsApp to my Galaxy S Captivate running stock 2.3, and when it asked me if I wanted it to create a shortcut on my home screen I said yes. After installing the app, TouchWiz crashes and force closes constantly, and I believe it must be something to do with the shortcut it tried to create. However, because my home screen doesn't load because TouchWiz is constantly crashing, I can't delete the shortcut.

Does anyone have any ideas that don't involve wiping my phone?

Able to remotely install another launcher via play store or does the crashing interrupt download/install process? GO Launcher supports android 2.0+, should let you uninstall the app which should then remove the shortcut.

MSI Afterburner has been reporting my GPU temperature to be around 45 C while idling within the last few days after normally idling around 28-30 C before now. Is there anything I can do to diagnose? Windows resource monitoring doesn't display any actual cause, but the most curious thing I've noticed is that core clock and memory clock are steadily at 1000~ and 860 respectively and aren't adjusting down.

The fan also doesn't seem to be adjusting to cool it off, I have to manually do so in Afterburner to get it to a high RPM that's cooling the card down. It reached 70 C tonight while playing a game and that seemed like the fucking danger zone so now I'm pretty curious about what's going on. So far I've reinstalled the Catalyst drivers, installed the latest beta Catalyst 13.5, reinstalled Afterburner to the latest stable version and reinstalled Lucid Virtu for kicks. This is the card: http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/HD7850DC22GD5/

    If this indicates anything:

Video cards tend to be fine till they get closer to like 90C ranges (thats actually a dangerously high temp) and probably shut off or crash etc at 100C.

    Possible things are...

Recently updated video drivers (they may have updated the video cards profile to lower idle fan speeds in favor of keeping the sound card quiter etc etc)
Alot of dust inside video card?
    Keeping room warmer then usual?

Anyway, did you recently add a monitor or enable unofficial OCing in MSI AB? You could have managed to disable power saving features on the card, as for the fan you can set manual fan curves in MSI AB if auto stopped, although that could indicate that it's another problem entirely. What is your average GPU usage when just sitting on desktop? It's showing 17% usage in the GPU-Z SS but shouldn't be that high unless you are doing something else.

edit: uh, scratch everything below. I removed some entries from startup to strip down things and it's returned to a normal looking idle. What in the actual hell.

No changes like this, but I'm going to open it up today to check and clean out any dust and try the stable and beta drivers again to see if anything happens.

Is Lucid problematic? It increased benchmark scores when I built it so I figured there was no harm. No recent changes like what you asked about, I thought the same about power saving so I'll see what I can check in regards to that. Haven't found anything obvious in Windows power settings so I'll flip through CCC again to see if anything sticks out.

Also this is another SS taken with virtually nothing running, you can see in the graph it's basically alternating between 0% and around 60% constantly which is a total mystery to me. All of 2 weeks ago it idled at 30 and would get up to around 50~55 during gameplay with the basic overclocking that can be done in Afterburner, but in the SS that's been set back to default.
