What entries? There are viruses out there that can do things like mine bitcoins on your PC but they usually peg your GPU at 99~100%.

To my surprise, nothing unusual. The culprit was an updater process from Adobe. Disabled it on start-up, life was good, enabled it to check and the symptoms re-appeared right away. Killing it in task manager restores the temps and clocks to what I expected. So weird, I'm wondering if it's even legit or just tucked away in there to appear so. Virustotal says it's okay.

Does anyone know of a way on an Android phone I can set it to where when certain contacts call or text it plays a sound even though my phone is in silent mode? I like to be able to wake up when certain people call, but the only way I know how is to turn the sound on and then I get woke up by collection agency bs. -.-

1. Download a music file of silence onto your phone.
2. Set it as your default ringtone.
3. Give friends custom ringtones?

If they're consistent collection/solicitor #s you can use a call-blocking app that'll hang up or silence the calls when they come in.

Holy shit that is genious, thanks man. Just used one of those mp3 cutters and cut out the silent part of one of my songs.

Since we are on the topic of phone sounds. How do I turn the camera shutter sound effect off on my Samsung Galaxy Rush. I have checked through all the settings. I there a way I can delete the audio file or something?

It's illegal in some countries to do that, not even sure if it's included in stock roms or if you have to have a custom rom to do it (CM has the ability to turn off sound iirc) but you can seem to get silent camera apps so they might work.

I know I used to have this option on the team sourcery rom I use, but haven't been able to find it for a while now. Damn those camera sound laws >.>.

I could be trying to covertly take a picture that affects national security.

Edit: With silent mode and with earbuds plugged in, it still makes shutter noise. Video camera makes a noise when turned on too.

I'm assuming WoW can be played with the latest version of intel HD integrated graphics without a problem/on good settings?

Friend is asking me to help with a laptop, and that's the only game she's interested with playing so can save some money if a dedicated card isn't required.

I played it on my 3570k. You can play it on 1080p with everything turned down if you wanted, but it will have some slowdowns in congested areas. I suggest around 1600x900. You might get away with turning view distance up a bit. I didnt raid much, but it can definitely handle it.

Finally have enough money to upgrade my gpu, is a 660 still a solid card? Also not sure if there's any major difference between 2GB and 3GB, I use two monitors often but usually only one for gaming and one for normal pc usage, both at 1080.

I'd wait and see what the 760(if that will exist) and the 760 ti looks like. The 660 2gbs only run with 1.5gb of VRAM due to bandwidth limitations and(or) architectural limitations, I forget. Same with the 660 ti. The 3gb model will run at full 3gb.

That said, my 660 was great for 1080p. It ran everything I needed it to at great fps. It is very low power draw and heat output.

I guess related, my board is only PCIe 2.0, will run into any bandwidth type issues with the newer 3.0 cards?

This was a year old, maybe things have changed. I had the same question earlier. PCI 3.0 isn't fully utilized. Same statement echoed here.

Last I checked, GPUs still aren't fully utilizing PCI 2.0. And they are backwards compatible.

Downloaded a PS2 game and I'm trying to figure out how to play it on the PCSX2. There's a shit ton of files all ending with numbers in order, blahblahbla-dgr.001 so on and so forth, but I see no iso file or any file for that matter that the emulator recognizes. Any specific options I have to use? Can't seem to figure it out.
