Same happens to me, and I think other people as well. So afaik it's normal, I have even reseated my H50 twice now using different paste spreading methods with no change.

thanks for the converter help, but I can't get subtitles to work now. I've tried 4 different converters, and tried a bunch of different ways to get them to work, but nada.
Can anyone tell me the name of the website that has really good deals on serial cords, phone cords, ethernet, and the like? it gave all the results in a list format and gave you the option to buy in like 1', 6', and so on up to like 100' and gave discounts for buying in bulk. Thanks!
I usually use Monoprice. Not sure it that's what you're thinking about, though.
Yeah that's it. Thanks so much.
well, I'm converting them on my laptop, and the subtitles dont show up in either the converter itself, or after it's been converted. Even when I save the subtitles separately, and attach them to in the converter.
So I think I'll just give up for now. Or at least just stick to anime that i already have in avi.
I have a bunch of new and old subtitled anime, I can try using the converter you used and see if it's something going wrong on the process. If you're watching anything within the last few seasons I might have the same files to try, too. Which converter did you end up using?
I used 4. 1 being the 1 you posted, Bigasoft, and the other 2 I dont remember as I quickly deleted them. Bigasoft is the only 1 I kept.
Is ATI or Nvidia planning on releasing a next generation of vidya cards before November?
ATI should be releasing their new 28nm architecture in Q4, nvidia had theirs pushed back to Q1.
Tested with xenonmkv just to see what happened and had the same results with the subs being stripped out. Google saved the day, though, found quite a few suggestions and PSPVC seems to work for this. Just need to click the box next to the preset you choose and add subtitles and select the stream in the dropdown from the mkv file.
Considering it took a bit if you had a bunch of episodes to do I'd probably add them as jobs to the queue all at once and do it overnight; first episode of Fractale took a little less than 20 minutes.

Go to a random hotel and say you forgot your laptop charger and want to check the lost-and-found box.
I have a D-Link TM-G5240 router that d/c's me every time I change zones in FFXI. Any idea what could be causing this or if there's a setting I can toggle to prevent this from happening?
When I go to change zones, it's ***Downloading Data*** until it times out and says No response from FFXI.
So my laptop monitor all of a sudden went, what I thought was completely black, incredibly dim to the point I can just barely make out where things are on-screen. If it goes off when idle and some action causes it to come on, it flashes brighter for a second, though still a dark, dim red, and returns to being as dim as it was before.
Is my laptop display shot? If so, what are my options? It has a VGA port for external, but I thought that had limitations that wouldn't make it worthwhile. The laptop itself is from '05 so I imagine replacing the screen won't be worth it and it'd probably become an HTPC or something like a server I can use to just remote into for functions when I need to.
The likely problem is that your LCD inverter is shot, which is probably in the $10-15 range to replace. It's the most common thing to have go, and what you've described matches what'd tend to happen when it does.
You can also likely find a replacement panel in the $80-120 range, if that's not past the point of being worth it for you.
VGA out usually isn't that limiting - it just may seem that way if you're mirroring the display with the built in LCD. If you do external only, they typically aren't bad.
augh, you're great. I'll look into an inverter to start with, thanks so much.
