    Hey, not sure this is the right place to put it or not but I was wondering if anyone knew how to code for a revolving image script. Basically I am trying to get a different image to pop up on this website for every day of the week(Want Monday's coupons to pop up Monday and so on). If anyone has any knowledge for an html script like this and could help me or can lead me to a reliable source that would be great. Thanks a lot for your help.

    Could probably do that with JavaScript and an array.

    If you can run PHP

    <?php
    $day = date("l");
    echo '<img src="coupons/'.$day.'.png" alt="" />';
    ?>
    Have your pictures in a coupons folder, called Monday.png Tuesday.png etc

    Anybody using Deep Freeze? I've got a computer that is stuck in an "unknown" status in the console, but the computer is online and I can even RDP into it via the console. Halp.

    Doesn't it change your PC back to the image everytime you reboot? Shouldn't a reboot change it back to normal? If not your image got overwritten or corrupted.

    Whats on the screen locally and when you remote in?

    The computer itself is functioning properly. What I'm trying to fix is the status in the Deep Freeze Console. Despite the computer being online and accessible via RDP through Deep Freeze Console, it is being reported as "unknown" instead of the proper status.

    It should look like the rest of the computers.

    Anyone have a recommendation on something to help with a memory leak? Sometimes a game I play leaks after a few hours use. Can always restart the game, but, I am often lazy.

    It looks like the something went wrong with the image it uses to reimage at reboot.

    You might wanna take a look at the PC and see if its restoring everything properly at reboot. Since I'm not sure how locked down (I'd assume a lot if your using something like this) the PC is just tweak something and see if it stays / goes.

    Put a file on the root of C:\, since I guess you only allow them to write to their own network shares. When you reboot the file should be gone, if its still there you need to reconfigure / replace the image with the same one as all the other PCs.

    Can anyone link me a good graphics card for a laptop?

    And if so, link me an article on where to find it on a fucking Alienware m17x.

    This shit is retarded in its design.

    Thanks in advance.

    laptop video is not typically an upgradable affair since not only is the slot important, but the physical shape and size of the board to fit.

    Not sure what you want to do with it but the specs are great. Not sure how good that gpu is for gaming but at least it's not integrated.

    The Dell, spec-wise, is better. It's the bottom end i5, but it's still an i5 instead of an i3 CPU. It has discrete graphics. Not the best, but halfway decent, and certainly better than Intel GMA.

    The HP has the free RAM upgrade, but RAM is typically easy/cheap to boost, whereas upgrading a laptop CPU/GPU later is often not possible or expensive.

    That said, if there's a price difference, you could check and see how much the HP would cost with a similar configuration from the factory.

    Neither are going to net you a particularly portable laptop, and personally I'd look into a higher density screen as well.

    Anyone with tips on dealing with tiny, tiny, tiny computer screws? I've disassembled my laptop from the problem I mentioned earlier to swap out the LCD inverter and while my screwdriver bits worked for every other screw on the laptop's hardware, the inverter board is locked down with a smaller phillips head screw that I can't get out for the life of me. I've even tried using a small flat head but I can't get enough traction and I don't want to strip it. I've tried using a pair of needle nose pliers to unscrew it out the back too but haven't been able to yet. I don't mind going out to buy a new set but I'd love to get this swapped out tonight since this is the only thing holding me back from finishing this.

    I use Platinum Tools Micro for working on my comps and other small projects.

    Edit: You hope to do it tonight, then I'd recommend Wal-mart and look for eye glass repair screw driver set.

    Get a cheap screwdriver and solder it to the screw.

    Would I be screwed after the fact? The replacement inverter isn't apart of the metal bracket so I'd have to re-use that screw somehow afterward.
