VGA is still used for old school projectors, so there is a reason.
Question: Is there any news on Nvidia's Optimus messing with FFXI? I've found issues through google searches, but I was wondering if there are any details on that.

On an iPad with 3G from AT&T...
If both my 3G service and regular wifi are active, will anything I download default to the wifi, or will it count against my 2gb of 3G service?
Having problems with wired 360 controller + xbcd + ffxi. Works in control panel, works in every game I've tested with except... the ffxi config won't detect it at all. I've used the same controller with ffxi previously and it worked fine, on the same computer, with the same windows xp, albeit the windows/ffxi/xbcd installations are all fresh after a reformat. Any ideas?
EDIT: works with ps3 controllers, so I don't get what's going on.
EDIT: Fixed by deleting the config and letting file check replace it.
Is it worth it upgrading from an HTC EVO to an Apple iPhone 4S? I heard there are quite a few issues with the iPhone, namely with Siri (the biggest reason why I want one) and with the battery life. I was told from my friend, who owns one, that it was all solved with the recent update (I think mid-November?)
Sidenote: There is nothing wrong with my EVO at all. I thoroughly enjoy it.
Anyone know of any non-malware riddled AVI to MP4 converters? Haven't been able to get my hands on a cracked version of Aftereffects, so I'm looking for alternatives.
Freemake Video Converter should work, just know that the MP4 conversion button is further down on the bottom bar so it's not shown initially
Or like already mentioned earlier in this thread: Handbrake. Very easy to use, and also comes with profiles for common handhelds like iPhones/iPods etc.![]()
Yeah, both will do and Handbrake has a lot more options and devices/presets. I like Freemake for simple, simple stuff, though, quick and easy.
Edit: NVM! Went with something else!
Anyone else having slow page loading issues on Firefox? I tried IE too, and it was a little bit faster. YouTube videos was at cellphone loading speed.
Reset modem, called time Warner, it's still slow. They said just use IE, I asked about online gaming, they said Idk try again tomorrow?
Oh, the issue is your internet speed? http://speedtest.net
If you're getting significantly less than what you pay for, call up time warning again, and bitch about it.
Can i read non-original (like a ripped movie or an audio disc) dvd and cd's on my PS3 with mutiman or that would kill slowly my laser? I ask this cuz in the past i had to change 2 ps2 laser because using normal cd's instead only dvd.
Monitor came in the mail today, this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009315, everything is fine atm, except my picture doesn't exactly hit the sides of my monitor? I guess? There's a black bar frame around my image, maybe about an inch or so wide? I suck at measurements. I know that side actually works, SR3 loads up the extra space (In 1280X1024, for some reason, it won't let me go higher with that game..) I assumed it was just a matter of "Stretch the image in the monitor settings" but those options are greyed out, manual is relatively useless. Any clue as to how I can remedy this?
Did you make sure your resolution is set to 1920x1080?

Well this is annoying, using the VGA output with a VGA-DVI connector, it works fine. I'm at a loss. In related news, AMD Vision Engine etcetc won't open, any idea why? I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling my entire driver suite, no go.
