Yeah, we finally got it working. Had to install/reinstall the Silverlight plugin three times to get it to work on his computer. Was probably more him than anything.

So this damn youtube problem still isn't fixed. I figured it would be for a few hours/a day, but nothing seems to load and the site is extremely unresponsive. I've tried deleting my cache/cookies, uninstalling/reinstalling Flash Player and nada. Any thoughts? I've asked a few friends and their youtube seems to work just fine, so it can't be the website either.

Have you done any changes to your browser lately? Updates, plugins, extensions, etc What browser are you using? What exactly is the problem?

*Seems you've posted previously that it's slow. It's not your connection? This is the only slow site? Sometimes youtube has it's slow days but you have been experiencing this for the past few days?

Yeah. I'm using Chrome. No real changes. I only have one plugin and it's Stealthy, and I have it de-activated.

The problem is, either the video fails to load completely (meaning black screen on video) or the website just takes forever to load each thumbnail/the video itself (buffers like crazy even at 360/240)

My connection seems strong. I ran a speedtest and I'm at 40.1 download and 1.4 upload. And yes, the ONLY website that seems to run slow for me.

Also Google.com sometimes actually runs really slowly. Might be something google-related...

Seems like this is a common problem with Chrome users. Try another browser as Senji said. If you want to use chrome,

    1) run chrome in incognito mode (private browsing) then clear the cookies if that doesn't work

    2) Install the chrome extension 'Edit this cookie' at <https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/fngmhnnpilhplaeedifhccceomclgfbg> navigate to a youtube page > click on the cookie in upper right of browser > Flag the cookie called 'PREF' and filter any cookies named 'PREF' from the .youtube domain (should be the first two check boxes)

    Hope that helps~

Also you may want to try my chrome settings:
    Spoiler: show

Basics > Search > DISABLE Instant for faster searching

Personal Stuff > Autofill > DISABLE autofill

Under the Hood > Privacy > UNCHECK all 5 boxes except for phishing & malware protection
Under the Hood > Privacy > Content Settings >

    Cookies:

-Allow local data to be set for current session only
-Block third party cookies and data
-Clear cookies and site data when I close browser

    Notifications:

    -Do not allow any site...

Also get Adblock, Flashblock, NotScripts, and WOT

Funny thing is, it moves even slower in Mozilla Firefox. I'll give the other two a shot though, thanks.

Is there any way to get rid of the default music player on an android? I got winamp on it, which I like, but for some reason the default player still tries to do shit. Most importantly: on the lock screen the next/pause etc buttons will play the default player on top of whatever I'm listening to on winamp. Is there a way to get rid of the default? Or to fix the lock screen somehow?

    Any ideas?

So I took your advice and tried it on two other computers and they all seem to run Youtube pretty slowly/unresponsive on both browsers Mozilla and Chrome. Is it my ISP or the router?

In order to remove stock apps on android you have to root your device, and some stock apps can't be removed because they perform certain functions. You should be able to change the default media player and remove the lockscreen buttons though, what phone/rom are you using?

I have no clue. I am retarded with phones. It says LG-LS670.

I want to keep the lock screen buttons. I just want them to play winamp instead of the default. Apparently it works sometimes but it usually just plays its own music player on top of winamp.

Is there any way to move all of the music that is on my Ipod onto my PC so I can then move all that music from my PC to a different Ipod?
I have 11k songs on my ipod and it would take a really long time getting all the music onto my computer so I can put it on the new one.

Convert. I use convertxtodvd, run a few at the same time.

    Cds are 700 mbs.

Based on your other thread, build a htpc. Cruise through the build thread for a recent one for a starting point.
