Is anyone else having trouble getting gear lower than level 9? Ever since I hit 8 it seems like everything is 9-12, which means it's useless since alpha is max 8.

This game is very nice looking, i thought there was gonna be a pc version? Playing the alpha and it feels like a cross between borderlands and halo, mostly halo, which is very nice. I'm very worried that this will feel like pso tho...

Yeah level 8's the cap. Played with a friend of mine, was pretty fun! I may get back on tomorrow to explore and stuff, but yeah; it's pretty fun. Looking forward tow hen they add more stuff for the beta and release.

I agree. The Co-Op Devil's Lair mission was amazing once you got to the bosses.

I feel the same way about the upcoming Beta. And I'm really curious about the sub-classes they plan on implementing, since they're in the character menu. So far thoroughly impressed with the game. Even the Competitive multiplayer feels amazing for what it is. The Crucible points feel like a gear lockout though. I'm realizing that the game is fun regardless of the Level though. September can't come soon enough.

Game is pretty awesome. I went exploring immediately after I spawned into that opening story mission on earth. Ended up down in that first building near where you spawn in old Russia and ran into super high level enemies that 1 shot me. I can't wait til release and I can go back and see what level they were (they were so high level were just skulls or something) and kick their ass. Now that's a feeling I've not felt in a long long time.

So i see that local coop was confirmed to be absent from this game. I dont think Playstation TV will be able to perform something similar if its running off the 1 ps4 in the house.

I guess the only option is to buy a copy for ps3? (assuming most of you guys also own ps3's as well as a ps4)

The game is coming out for like everything but Wii U and PC. Even ps3/360 are getting versions although I have no idea why and I think it's stupid to give those old consoles versions of this beast of a game.

Alpha is PS4 only but beta next month is on Xbox too. Just sit tight.
