Fucking finally; first leg. Actually pretty happy with the affixes too; extra rocket + more nades. The video I posted last page on Earth is amazing; you don't even need to be in a party. Just look at the zone list when you port in; if there's like 3+ LV21+ guys, there's a good chance they are all chilling at that cave smoking mobs. You get engrams from other people's kills, so it doesn't matter. I went to the spot and hung out for an hour with 3x LV24-27 guys. Ended up getting ~8 blues and ranking up the cryptarch gave me a leg heavy which turned into this:

At 9 strange coins and 19 motes; need a few more of each before Friday. Someone remind me for best coin farming method? I was thinking just continue farming blue engrams and hope they turn into coins.

Yeah I hit that spot too for about 30 minutes. It's insane. Handful of blue/purple engrams and tons of rare equipment for materials. Also pop the hive glimmer item when you do it

I think that is the best. The class items are so disappointing to get, but it consoles me when they turn into coins.

What level is considered high? I'm level 24 right now

I'd say 26, personally. But that's just because that's the recommended minimum level to try the VoG.

Dillema need some opinions

Currently Rank 24 Warlock, Vanguard rank 2 with about 163 marks (will get 200 this week)

Should i buy guy Rank 2 this week, or just be patient and try to rush Rank 3 and buy rank 3 stuff

Armor is Rank 2, so I would recommend getting that. You can level off armor and weapons don't have light attached to them.



I think the game wants me to level Warlock though -- just need hands and I'll have a full set of legendary gear for it >.>;

On that note, if you're like me and bottle-necked by Ascendant Shards, I recommend creating a second (or third) character. You can do a public event with extra characters and get the daily reward.

5k kills at "We've Awoken the Hive" I think around 25-30 blues, 1 purple (which turned into a level 18 blue machine gun) and I think 3 full cryptarch ranks.
1 for 4 on turning purple engrams into purple gear. And 1 for 1 on it being for the wrong class =/

Also. I wish this game had a item drop system like borderlands. I'd love to try and buy a decent auto rifle off someone. I can't seem to get an auto rifle anywhere. I can only get white ones

Anyone else try the vita remote play? I'm trying it at work now and aiming is horrible. I had to put sensitivity down to 2 to keep from over aiming. Works for farming but i have full purple so no need to really. first world problems. wish i had brought it to work sooner.

So besides extra characters any other way to get shards? do you get them for dismantle purples? i'm blocked by that as well.

Holy balls, team was down by 10 kills, other team needed 3 kills to win. I went on a fucking super kill streak, won us the game by 20 points. I was so close to dying and giving the other team the win. And then the guy on my team with 2 kills gets a Legendary.

Friday would be good the few close people can farm up strange coins and hit up the vendor for last ditch boost in levels.

Awwwww yeah. earth is the best spot ever. AFK farming here by letting other people kill shit, and i get full credit (grimoire, drops etc). just got legendary helmet engram. woot woot. first one ever.

Myrth, thats teh cave on earth, video posted a few pages ago. take the hive mind or warmind or whatever mission, go towards where the ghosts drop, go left until you find the hive ship, cave is to the right. Stand back about 30 yards or so behind another spire to get spawns. Spawns wont occur unless all the hive are currently dead, but if they do, (usually people farming this) you can join them in shootin them up, Run in every 5-10 mins, mass loot.
