Thankfully i got a good amount of queens gear cashed out. dammit man i wanted 29 too back to the old methods and lol dying reducing loot. they should've made cryp guy actually give us shit. this randomly always bs shit is maddening.

Dev notes made it sound like they were going to adjust, well at least that's how I interpreted it. I've gotten more legendary's from blue's than purples and at a 22 crypto rank I've yet to decode an exotic.

Wow.. Queen's stuff is worthless. So it gives nothing now? If they're unhappy that people are farming them for shards, either make the gear less terrible, or reduce the shards. Bleh..

I really like the dev notes but I'll save the applause for the implementation. I thought the queens bounties were good for PVP. The matches felt more balanced since you were constantly running into shotty/fusion close/mid range and shingen mid/long range every time.

I guess the plus side to the loot cave and queen being nerfed is that I will go back to focusing on crucible marks and FWC reputation :/

I actually take back what I said about the Queen's stuff. I think coupled with the cave nerf, this is actually kinda a good thing. I only got one piece of legendary gear from the cave (for my hunter at least), but I know there were people who got their full set of gear from there. This way, it's harder to get legendary gear (engrams are completely unreliable till they fix the probabilities) so the Queen's gear, while not the best, is useful for players who want to gain access to say the raid. I don't know the numbers, but in a week, you can buy feet and hands from vendors and get a queen's body and head to be at least 26 if not 27 (right?).

Loss of materials sucks, but I'm glad I was hoarding them until seeing what Xur is offering tomorrow.

But shooting at a black hole for hours on end isn't our dream for how Destiny is played. Our hope is that social engagement in public spaces is only one part of the Destiny experience. Expect changes soon which decrease the efficiency of cave farming and correspondingly increase engram drops from completing activities.

Too bad we only got the nerf half of this proposal. They shouldn't have touched it until they had the buff half ready to go (and the Cryptarch fuckery fixed).
